Which Chromebook Duet 11 configuration was reported back in stock?
Chrome Unboxed reported on December 26, 2024 that Lenovo had restocked the 8GB RAM/128GB storage version for $399 and that the listing included a USI 2.0 pen. Lenovo identifies the product family as Chromebook Duet 11M889. What differs between the Duet 11 configurations?
Lenovo lists two memory options and two storage capacities. Memory is soldered and not upgradeable; storage is eMMC installed on the system board, and Lenovo’s specification reference lists no storage slot.

The 8GB/128GB model was the configuration called the “best version” in the restock report. That is a description of the higher-memory, higher-storage option—not evidence that it is the best choice for every buyer or the best-priced Chromebook today. What does the Duet 11 offer?
It is a compact ChromeOS tablet with a detachable folio keyboard and touchpad, a folio stand, and pogo-pin connection. Lenovo lists a 10.95-inch WUXGA (1920 × 1200) IPS touchscreen with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 400-nit brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The processor is a MediaTek Kompanio 838.

What did the launch prices and pen announcements say?
Lenovo’s October 1, 2024 release gave a North American starting price of $339.99. Google’s October 2024 announcement described a U.S. starting price of $339 and said the USI Pen 2 was sold separately in that launch context. Those were launch-era statements, not current offers or proof that every retailer’s bundle was identical. The later report about the $399 8GB/128GB Lenovo listing said that specific listing included the pen. Bundle contents depend on the exact SKU and retailer listing. - Confirm the listing is for the 11-inch Duet family (11M889, Duet (11”, 9), or Duet Gen 9), not the older 10.1-inch Duet or Duet EDU G2.
- Verify that it explicitly states 8GB memory and 128GB storage if that is the configuration you want.
