Lelit’s Elizabeth3 and Victoria3 bring the company’s Pagaia lever-based flow control to two different espresso-machine designs: a dual-boiler model and a single-boiler model. Pagaia lets you adjust pump output during extraction, giving hands-on control over the flow and pressure profile—not a guarantee of better-tasting coffee. T3 reported the launch on 1 October 2026, International Coffee Day, with UK starting prices of £1,499.95 for Elizabeth3 and £999.95 for Victoria3.
What Pagaia lets you control
Pagaia is an electronic flow-control system. On the Elizabeth3 and Victoria3, the lever controls the vibration pump and shapes the water-flow curve as water passes through the coffee. Lelit’s explanation for the MaraX3 says turning the lever clockwise gradually increases pump output, while turning it counterclockwise reduces pressure. That describes how the control works; it does not establish that a particular setting will improve a shot or suit every coffee.
In practical terms, the lever gives an espresso maker an adjustable input during extraction rather than requiring every shot to use the same pump output. It is a hands-on feature: results depend on how the user adjusts it and on the coffee and preparation. Lelit’s Pagaia explanation for the MaraX3 documents the system, but its accessory and specification details should not be assumed to apply to these two machines.

The clearest distinction is the boiler arrangement. T3 describes the Elizabeth3 as a dual-boiler machine and the Victoria3 as a single-boiler machine. Both models are reported to have a 200 ml coffee boiler; Elizabeth3 also has a separate 600 ml steam/hot-water boiler. The launch report does not provide equivalent Victoria3 steam-boiler capacity.

Choose Elizabeth3 if the separate boilers fit your workflow
A dual-boiler layout is the more relevant option if you want brewing and steaming handled by separate boilers. Elizabeth3 also has a separately described hot-water wand. Those are configuration differences, not verified promises about how quickly the machine can switch tasks or recover temperature: no independent Elizabeth3 workflow or recovery-time test was identified.
Choose Victoria3 if a single-boiler setup is the better fit
Victoria3 is the smaller of the two by the dimensions T3 reports, particularly in the second listed measurement: 27 cm versus Elizabeth3’s 36 cm. Because the orientation has not been confirmed against a model-specific manufacturer sheet, check the official dimensions and your counter space before buying. Its single-boiler configuration is the main trade-off to weigh against Elizabeth3’s separate steam/hot-water boiler.

Design and launch details
T3 reports that both machines have lighting that illuminates during extraction, wood accents on the feet, tamper and portafilter, redesigned drip trays, and multiple colour choices. These details distinguish the look and presentation of the launch models; preferences about their appearance are subjective. T3 reported the models as available through Lelit in multiple colours, but stock and colour availability can vary by market and retailer.

No independent head-to-head performance test or model-specific verified technical sheet for the new Elizabeth3 and Victoria3 was identified. There is therefore no supported basis here for calling either a better-tasting or better-performing machine. Tom’s Guide’s May 2026 hands-on observations concern the Mara X3, a related model, and are not test results for Elizabeth3 or Victoria3. Before choosing, confirm the exact model’s specifications and included accessories with Lelit or the seller; an espresso-capable grinder is also a separate part of the setup to plan for.
