LEGO Harry Potter Collection is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on October 16, 2026. The release is a video game collection—not a launch of new LEGO Harry Potter building sets—and combines remastered versions of two previously released games.

Gematsu reported on September 1, 2026, that the Switch 2 collection would be sold both physically and digitally, with the physical edition distributed on a game-key card. That is secondary-source reporting; Nintendo’s cited US listing identifies the digital edition. Confirm the current retailer or Nintendo listing before relying on physical availability or format.
How much does the Switch 2 collection cost?
Gematsu reported a price of $49.99 for the Switch 2 version on September 1, 2026. Nintendo’s cited listing does not establish that price. Treat it as reported pricing, not a guaranteed current price, and check the live store listing before purchase.

Is this connected to Hasbro’s Harry Potter toy plans?
No connection to the October 16 game release is established. Hasbro announced on February 14, 2026, a multi-year licensing partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products that begins in 2027. Hasbro said it would become the global primary toy licensee for Harry Potter, with future products spanning dolls, role play, action figures, collectibles, interactive plush, board games, and more.
