No: leaked footage does not confirm that the DJI Neo 3 will launch with a new camera sensor. A report published by DroneXL on October 3 and updated October 6, 2026, says a leaked marketing sheet claims the drone has a square 1/1.1-inch sensor, native vertical shooting, and 2x lossless zoom. Those are leak claims, not specifications DJI has confirmed. The report says DJI had not announced the Neo 3 at publication.
What the Neo 3 leak claims
DroneXL’s account attributes three camera features to a leaked marketing sheet reportedly shared by leaker Igor Bogdanov: a square 1/1.1-inch image sensor, native vertical capture, and 2x lossless zoom. The report says the sheet’s French text describes vertical shooting and zoom. The cited report is secondary coverage of leaked material; it does not independently authenticate the sheet or establish that these features will appear in a released product. Read DroneXL’s report.
The footage and the alleged sheet are separate kinds of evidence. Footage that appears to show a drone may indicate that a device is being tested or circulating, but it cannot establish the final product name, launch, camera specifications, or image quality. The alleged printed specifications remain unconfirmed.

DJI’s official support specifications for the original Neo list a 1/2-inch image sensor and an approximate takeoff weight of 135 g. Those are specifications for the original model only, not the Neo 3. See DJI’s original Neo specifications.

| Model or claim | Sensor information | Status |
|---|---|---|
| DJI Neo 3 | Square 1/1.1-inch sensor, according to the leaked sheet reported by DroneXL | Unconfirmed leak claim; not an official DJI specification. DroneXL |
| Original DJI Neo | 1/2-inch image sensor | Listed by DJI for the original Neo; not a Neo 3 specification. DJI |
If the alleged Neo 3 sensor size is accurate, it would be a larger stated format than the original Neo’s. That comparison alone does not prove better low-light performance, sharper footage, or any other real-world image-quality improvement. The cited coverage provides no independent camera tests, and it does not establish the Neo 3’s resolution or final video modes.
Are native vertical video and 2x lossless zoom confirmed?
No. Both features are attributed to the leaked sheet, not confirmed by DJI. “Native vertical” suggests capture intended for a portrait aspect ratio, while “2x lossless zoom” is the sheet’s wording as reported. Without official specifications or independent testing, the exact implementation and resulting image quality are not established.

What is known about availability and accessories
The cited report said DJI had not announced the Neo 3 as of its October 6, 2026 update. The available sources do not establish an official price, launch date, final camera modes, or compatible accessories for the Neo 3. Treat those details as unknown until DJI publishes product information.
DJI’s official compatibility table lists Goggles N3 as compatible with the original Neo and Neo 2, but does not list the Neo 3. That is not evidence of Neo 3 compatibility. Check DJI’s Goggles N3 compatibility information.

DJI’s Goggles N3 product page describes the goggles—not the Neo 3—as having a 1080p 60 Hz LCD display and up to 2.7 hours of operating time under specified test conditions. These figures do not describe drone flight time or establish that the goggles work with a Neo 3. See DJI’s Goggles N3 product page.

For a reliable comparison, look for DJI’s published specifications and independent footage or testing that identifies the final product. Useful details include the confirmed sensor format and resolution, supported video modes, stabilization and gimbal design, and whether vertical capture and zoom work as claimed. Until then, the 1/1.1-inch sensor, vertical shooting, and 2x lossless zoom are rumors rather than purchasing facts.
