The Lava Blaze X 5G’s standout feature is its 6.67-inch, 120Hz curved AMOLED display, paired with a slim-looking design and a clean Android experience. Those strengths make it appealing for everyday use, but its camera consistency, non-expandable storage and limited software-support commitment are meaningful trade-offs. Its launch prices are historical, and Lava’s product page currently marks the phone sold out, so check for a genuinely available listing before considering a purchase.
What the Lava Blaze X 5G offers
Lava lists the Blaze X 5G with a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED screen, 120Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, up to 8GB of physical RAM, 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, a 64MP main camera, a 16MP selfie camera and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging. The manufacturer also specifies virtual RAM expansion; that does not change the phone’s physical RAM capacity. Lava’s product page currently labels the phone sold out. How good is the display and design?
The curved AMOLED display is the phone’s clearest selling point. Its 120Hz refresh rate can make scrolling and supported animations look smoother than on a standard 60Hz screen, while the curved edges and thin bezels give the front a more premium appearance. Business Standard described it as a Full HD+ panel with an 800-nit peak-brightness claim; that figure is the publication’s reported specification, not a guarantee of brightness in every viewing condition. The design is polished for its class, though the rear material is plastic rather than glass or metal. Dhruv Joshi’s 91mobiles review likewise praised the display and design. 91mobiles’ review

How well do the cameras perform?
The rear camera is a 64MP unit using a Sony sensor, according to Lava. In 91mobiles’ review, daylight photos could look washed out or overexposed, while low-light images were soft and grainy. The review found portrait shots comparatively stronger, but the camera was not consistently as good at detail or exposure as some competitors in the comparisons it described. The 16MP front camera is the listed selfie specification; the cited review findings do not establish that it is a standout feature.
Is performance suitable for everyday use and gaming?
The Dimensity 6300 handled basic day-to-day tasks well in 91mobiles’ assessment. That makes the phone a reasonable fit for routine browsing, messaging and common apps, but the review characterized gaming as best suited to casual play. Demanding games may require low graphics settings, so it is not the right choice if high-quality gaming performance is a priority.

- Case is higher than the camera as well as the screen, providing better flat protection
Storage is 128GB, and 91mobiles reports that it is not user-expandable. Consider how much room you need for apps, photos and downloaded media before choosing it; virtual RAM expansion does not provide additional file-storage capacity.

How long does the battery last, and how fast does it charge?
The phone has a 5,000mAh battery and supports 33W charging, according to Lava. In 91mobiles’ 2024 testing, it recorded 11 hours and 35 minutes on its battery benchmark and 26% drain over roughly two hours in an intensive-use test. Those results describe that review’s tests, not a guaranteed screen-on time for every owner. The publication also reported about 90 minutes to charge from 20% to full using the paired 33W charger.

What software support can buyers expect?
91mobiles’ 2024 review described the interface as clean and close to stock Android, a plus for readers who prefer less visual clutter. The same review stated that Lava promised one additional Android upgrade and two years of security updates, and judged that commitment limited for the segment. Treat that as the commitment reported in the review, rather than a current independently verified support policy.
What did the Lava Blaze X cost at launch?
Gadgets 360 reported these Indian launch prices on July 10, 2024. They are launch figures, not current offers or evidence of present stock. The report also mentioned an introductory ₹1,000 discount and planned sales through Amazon and Lava’s e-store from July 20, 2024; those launch arrangements do not establish that either channel has an available listing now. Is the Lava Blaze X 5G still available, and is it worth buying?
Lava’s official product page currently labels the Blaze X 5G sold out. A 2024 launch report named Amazon as a planned sales channel, but that does not confirm current inventory. Check the seller, exact RAM variant, price and return terms on any live listing before deciding; the old launch prices should not be treated as today’s price.

At a verified, competitive price, the Blaze X makes most sense for someone who values a curved AMOLED screen, polished styling and clean software more than camera consistency, expandable storage or longer update support. If low-light photography, demanding games or a longer stated support commitment matter more, 91mobiles named the Redmi 13 5G and CMF Phone 1 as competitors and reported stronger points for those phones in particular comparisons. Their current prices and availability are not established here, so compare live listings and the exact variant rather than relying on 2024 pricing. 91mobiles rated the Blaze X 7.5/10 in its 2024 review. 91mobiles’ specifications and review-summary page
