South Korean defence-components supplier Digitron has completed a pre-IPO funding round reported at approximately KRW 10 billion. The company plans to use the money to expand production facilities and cover operating costs. Six institutional investors participated, while a planned KOSDAQ listing in the second half of 2027 remains a company target—not a confirmed listing date.

How much did Digitron raise?

Reports published on October 1, 2026, put the round at approximately KRW 10 billion. Dollar conversions differ: Dealroom reports US$7.37 million, while another report gives US$8.38 million. Because the reporting does not resolve that discrepancy, the KRW figure is the clearest way to state the amount. October 1 funding report Dealroom report

The six reported institutional investors are SBI Investment, IBK Venture Investment, New Main Capital, Cornerstone Investment Partners, Bestian Partners, and HN Ventures. These are reported transaction details, not terms from a located regulatory filing or investor announcement.

The stated uses are plans for the proceeds, not evidence that expanded capacity is already operating. Funding report

What does Digitron supply for Cheongung-II?

Reporting says Digitron supplies core components used in Cheongung-II, a guided missile exported to Middle Eastern countries. The reports and company disclosure cited here do not identify the exact component or independently establish its function in the system, so a more specific description would go beyond what has been disclosed. What do the order and sales figures indicate?

Reports put Digitron’s order backlog at more than KRW 100 billion at the end of September 2026. Separately, they give the company’s 2026 annual sales target as more than KRW 40 billion. The backlog is a dated reported order figure; the sales number is a target, not reported revenue or a completed result. Both are company or news-report figures, not independent estimates. When does Digitron plan to go public?

Digitron has named NH Investment & Securities as lead manager and is targeting a KOSDAQ listing in the second half of 2027. The October 1 reports said the timing of a preliminary review filing was still under discussion. The target period is therefore not a confirmed filing, approval, or listing date; an IPO depends on review and subsequent steps. IPO plan report
