The Alexa-equipped toilet in the headline is Kohler’s Numi 2.0, a high-end smart toilet that combines voice control with bidet cleansing, a heated seat, warm-air drying and automated features. The often-quoted $11,500 was an approximate MSRP reported in December 2022—not a confirmed current price.
What is the Kohler toilet with Alexa?
It is the Kohler Numi 2.0. Kohler’s current product listing identifies the one-piece, elongated, dual-flush toilet as model K-30754-PA-0. The company describes Amazon Alexa as built in, enabling voice control of Numi features and access to Alexa skills. Kohler’s Numi 2.0 listing
What can Alexa and the toilet’s other features do?
Kohler’s launch description presents Alexa as one part of a broader set of connected and automated functions. The company says users can manage personalized settings through the KOHLER Konnect app. Kohler’s broader platform supports Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple HomeKit on select products; that does not establish that this specific toilet works with all three assistants.
Personal comfort and cleansing
- Warm-water front and rear cleansing from a stainless-steel wand, with adjustable spray shape, position, pressure and temperature, as well as pulsating and oscillating modes.
- A heated seat and warm-air drying.
Automation and hygiene
- Motion-activated opening and closing of the seat and cover, automatic flushing and a power-save mode.
- UV light and electrolyzed water to clean the wand, pre-use bowl misting and automatic deodorization.
- An emergency flush button for power outages.
Audio and connected features
- Integrated speakers and ambient lighting.

Was the Numi 2.0 really $11,500?
That figure has a specific historical context. CE Pro reported an approximate $11,500 MSRP on December 22, 2022, when the toilet was ready for home installation. Kohler’s launch announcement was dated June 7, 2022. The current Kohler product listing does not establish today’s price, and current regional or street pricing is not confirmed here. How much water does it use?
Kohler’s 2023 Global Impact Report lists a 1.0-gallon full flush and a 0.8-gallon half flush. From those figures, Kohler gives a calculated average of 0.87 gallons per flush. Kohler’s 2023 Global Impact Report

The report estimates that replacing a 1.6-gallon-per-flush toilet with Numi 2.0 could save more than 69,000 gallons over 20 years. That is Kohler’s calculation, based on Plumbing Manufacturers International assumptions of a 2.67-person household, 13 flushes a day and a 20-year useful life—not an independently measured saving for every household.

What to check before considering one
A toilet is a permanent plumbing fixture as well as a connected device. Kohler’s support information describes Numi 2.0 as a dual-flush toilet with a 12-inch rough-in and concealed trapway. Confirm the rough-in and installation requirements with a qualified installer, and check the finish and price available for your location before making a decision. Kohler Numi 2.0 support information
