- Confirm that the screen displays a clear picture and that the remote and Android interface respond.
- Test each HDMI input with a device you can bring, and check the rear USB input if you need it.
- Play audio at a normal listening level. If you plan to use a soundbar or external speakers, inspect the TV’s actual audio connections and verify compatibility; the available model information does not establish which specific audio outputs a given unit has.
- Ask for the purchase date and any proof of warranty coverage. CHOICE lists a one-year warranty, but that does not establish coverage for a used set or remaining stock.
- Compare the seller’s price with currently available televisions rather than treating CHOICE’s A$949 listing as today’s market price.
For a replacement, compare current models on screen size, panel type, resolution, operating system and app support, refresh rate, HDMI/eARC and other ports, warranty, and current price. Kogan’s catalog lists other televisions, but it does not by itself establish a direct performance comparison with this discontinued model.
