The KitchenAid Artisan 5KFP1644 is a large, attachment-rich food processor with a manufacturer-listed 4.0 L bowl and 650 W motor. Its published specifications make it worth considering if you want one appliance for a range of food-preparation tasks, but they do not establish how well it slices, dices, or handles everyday use. Independent test results are not visible in the available CHOICE review, and individual owner complaints should be treated as anecdotes rather than proof of a widespread fault.
What the KitchenAid 5KFP1644 offers
KitchenAid Norway lists the appliance as an Artisan 4 L food processor, commercial code 5KFP1644ECA. The regional product page gives a 650 W power rating and a bowl capacity of 4.000 L. That page lists the unit at 457 mm high, 304 mm wide, 248 mm deep, and 14.66 kg net. It describes a die-cast body, plastic bowl, 90 cm cord, and 50/60 Hz rating. The figures describe the regional configuration shown; confirm the exact model suffix, plug, electrical rating, dimensions, and package contents for the unit and market you are considering.
What attachments come with it?
KitchenAid’s product page lists a broad accessory set. The manufacturer describes features that support adjustable slicing and dicing, but the accessory list alone cannot show how well they perform in practice.

Is the 5KFP1644 the same as the KFP1642?
The available specifications and review evidence in these sources are for the 5KFP1644; they do not establish that it is identical to the KFP1642 or document the differences between the models. A KitchenAid/Whirlpool EMEA owner manual from 2012 states a three-year full warranty for the 5KFP1644 under the terms described for that region. This dated regional statement is not a promise of present coverage for a used appliance or a unit sold elsewhere.
