The PS5 KINGDOM HEARTS Collection [I~III] bundles three releases: HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX, HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind. It is not a set of twelve fully playable games: two entries are cutscene compilations, and another is a movie. Square Enix’s contents list identifies what is included and how those entries are presented.
What’s included in the PS5 collection?
The package combines three previously released Kingdom Hearts collections or products. Square Enix announced native availability on current-generation consoles, rather than cloud versions. Its June 10, 2026 announcement lists PS5 among the platforms.
KINGDOM HEARTS -HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX-
- KINGDOM HEARTS FINAL MIX
- KINGDOM HEARTS Re:Chain of Memories
- KINGDOM HEARTS II FINAL MIX
- KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 Days — an HD cutscene compilation

Which entries are movies or cutscene compilations?
358/2 Days and Re:coded appear as HD cutscene compilations, while χ Back Cover is presented as an HD movie. These are story-viewing formats, not playable remasters of the original games in this package. The other listed entries have their own playable-game or episode format descriptions on Square Enix’s official collection page.

- KINGDOM HEARTS Collection [I–III] Amazon Exclusive Edition includes a double-sided poster.
- A value packed bundle featuring three collections: KINGDOM HEARTS -HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX-, KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind (DLC).
- This product is also included in other bundle sets. Please ensure you do not purchase the same content more than once.
- Platform-exclusive Keyblade "Midnight Blue" included with purchase!
- To play the physical version of KINGDOM HEARTS Collection [I–III], an internet connection and additional data download are required.
Is Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory included?
No. KINGDOM HEARTS Melody of Memory is a separate rhythm-action game and is not named in the collection’s contents. Square Enix lists it separately on its official Melody of Memory page. Its absence from this bundle does not make it a required part of the listed collection, and the official contents list should not be read as an exhaustive catalog of every Kingdom Hearts release.
What should PS5 buyers know about physical and digital editions?
Square Enix announced the collection for PS5 with an October 8, 2026 release date. Its North American store page lists a physical edition and says that playing it requires an internet connection and an additional data download. The pages do not state the download size or specify which content, if any, is playable before the download finishes. Check current availability and pricing for your region, since store terms can vary and change.

Square Enix’s announcement says the collection is available natively on current-generation consoles. The official pages establish physical and digital availability, but do not provide enough detail to compare disc and download sizes or make claims about performance or image quality.

The contents list establishes that Melody of Memory is outside the bundle. It does not establish that this is the only Kingdom Hearts release omitted. A broader list would depend on what counts as a release—such as a remake, mobile game, or story collection—and should not be inferred from this package’s three-part contents list.
