Amazon’s event announcement confirms the dates, but not this specific device price. Check the exact product listing and checkout price before relying on the reported deal.

Which Kindle is included in the deal?

Amazon describes the Scribe Colorsoft as a color-display writing device with an included Premium Pen. It also lists an adjustable screen light, USB-C charging, touchscreen, dark mode, and VoiceView screen reader over Bluetooth. Storage options are 32GB and 64GB; Amazon lists approximately 49.94GB available to the user on the 64GB model.

How does it differ from a regular Kindle Scribe?
The main distinction established by Amazon’s product information is the display: the Scribe Colorsoft has a color display, while the Kindle Scribe (3rd Generation) is a separate, non-color model. The Scribe Colorsoft is also positioned for handwritten notes and annotation, with its Premium Pen included. If your priority is standard monochrome reading rather than color and writing, compare the exact model and configuration pages rather than assuming every device called a Scribe has the same display or included accessories.

What to check before ordering
- Confirm the listing says Kindle Scribe Colorsoft (1st Generation), 64GB; the reported $160 reduction applies to this configuration.
- Verify the price at checkout and review Amazon’s available Price History. A recent-history view is useful context, not proof of an all-time low.
- Check the exact listing for sale eligibility, stock, and package details. The available setup information does not establish whether a charger or case is included.
- Plan to set up the Kindle with an Amazon account and an internet connection. Amazon says setup can be completed on the device or using a phone.
