SmackDown wrestler Kiana James posted, “Kiana with a briefcase just sounded right… 💼” after being left out of WWE’s 2026 women’s Money in the Bank qualifying matches. The post suggests she saw herself as a natural fit for the briefcase match, though the claim that she was “unhappy” is the report’s interpretation—not confirmation of James’s private feelings.
What Kiana James posted
An October 3, 2026, Sportskeeda report quoted James’s briefcase-themed post: “Kiana with a briefcase just sounded right… 💼” The wording signals interest in the Money in the Bank opportunity, but it does not explicitly say she was angry or explain why she did not qualify. Sportskeeda
Was James’s July match a Money in the Bank qualifier?
No. On July 24, James faced Chelsea Green in a qualifier for the Interim WWE Women’s Championship Ladder Match at SummerSlam. WWE’s results say Green won with the Unprettier. That was a separate competition from the later Money in the Bank qualifying matches. WWE SmackDown results: July 24, 2026
