Kanye West reportedly took his children to LA Sports Cards in Burbank, California, on September 30, 2026, for a private Pokémon card shopping visit. Page Six, citing an unnamed source, says the shop closed for the family and West spent “thousands upon thousands” on cards. The shop’s public thank-you post confirms a visit, but does not verify the private arrangement or spending claim.
What reportedly happened at the Burbank card shop
Page Six reported that West visited LA Sports Cards with his children on Wednesday night, September 30, 2026. An unnamed source quoted by the outlet said the store was shut for the family to shop and that the children were excited. Page Six’s report is the source for those details.
The shop later shared photos of West with employees and a thank-you caption, as reported by Page Six and Dexerto. That public acknowledgment supports that he stopped by; it does not independently establish that the store closed privately for the family.
How much did Kanye West reportedly spend?
The unnamed Page Six source described the spending as “thousands upon thousands” on Pokémon cards for the children. The report gives no exact total or receipt, so the phrase should be treated as an attributed, imprecise claim—not a confirmed amount.
