JTX has a reported target for a mobile app in fall 2026, while perpetual futures may come later in winter. Neither feature has a confirmed release date: the October 7, 2026 report gives seasonal windows, and JTX’s public product pages do not establish when either will launch.
What Jito has reported about JTX’s roadmap
TokenPost reported on October 7, 2026, that Jito Foundation chair Brian Smith expects a JTX mobile app in fall 2026 and that perpetual contracts may arrive later in winter. The report attributed the perps timing to The Block. The available report does not provide a precise date, and no official release notice confirming either launch was available.
Read these as roadmap expectations, not announcements that the features are live. “Fall” and “later in winter” are broad seasonal windows; they do not identify a day, app-store listing, supported region, or firm delivery commitment.
What JTX offers now, and what remains on the roadmap
JTX launched publicly on July 21, 2026, as a Solana-native spot-trading platform. Jito’s launch announcement described spot trading for Solana assets and tokenized real-world assets, alongside professional order tools: resting limit orders, automated execution, and conditional orders. JTX’s homepage currently presents spot trading and pro orders as available and lists perpetual futures and prediction markets under “Next.” That label supports the distinction between current features and planned ones; it does not confirm a delivery date. JTX homepage

What the launch announcement says about custody
Jito described JTX as self-custodial, saying users hold their own keys and settlement happens on-chain. Jito Labs co-founder and CEO Lucas Bruder said, “Users hold their own keys, settlement happens onchain, and there are no custody tradeoffs.” This is the company’s description of the product, not an independent security assessment. - The exact date the mobile app will be released, whether it is currently available in any app store, and which regions or devices it will support.
- The exact perps launch date and whether the reported later-winter timing is a firm commitment.
- Any release conditions or changes to the roadmap before launch.
Jito’s May 5, 2026 product explanation presented JTX as a unified on-chain trading surface for charts, execution, portfolio tracking, and capital management, with self-custody as a design principle.
