RotoWire reported on October 1, 2026, that North Dakota State running back Jonathan Harvey was off the injury report and available for the Bison’s October 3 game against Wyoming. That game-week status did not confirm that he would play or receive playing time.
What was reported about Jonathan Harvey?
RotoWire said Harvey had not played earlier in the 2026 season because of an undisclosed injury. Citing the Mountain West availability report, it listed him as available for North Dakota State’s Week 5 game against Wyoming on October 3. The update was specific to that game week, not a statement about later contests. RotoWire’s report did not identify the injury, its severity, or a recovery timeline.
Did “available” mean Harvey would play?
No. RotoWire also assessed that Harvey was low on North Dakota State’s depth chart and unlikely to appear. Being off the availability report meant he was listed as available for that game; it did not establish that he entered the game, had a confirmed role, or was expected to get playing time.

The report described the reason for Harvey’s earlier absence only as an undisclosed injury. It provided no diagnosis, treatment details, or further medical information. It also did not include a direct statement from Harvey, a coach, or a team official.
