John Carpenter’s 1978 TV thriller Someone’s Watching Me!, starring Lauren Hutton, was reported streaming free on Tubi in an October 1, 2026 article from AOL. The report did not specify a country, and streaming catalogs can change, so check Tubi in your region for the exact title before settling in.
Where to watch Someone’s Watching Me!
AOL reported on October 1, 2026, that Someone’s Watching Me! was available to stream free on Tubi. That is a dated report, not confirmation of the film’s current catalog status: availability may differ by country and change over time. Search for the full title in Tubi’s app or website, and verify that the result is the 1978 film before playing it.

What is the “lost” John Carpenter movie?
Someone’s Watching Me! is a made-for-television thriller written and directed by John Carpenter. Lauren Hutton stars as Leigh Michaels, a live television director who leaves New York for Los Angeles. After settling into a high-rise apartment and starting a new job, Leigh begins receiving anonymous calls and strange deliveries and notices signs that she is being watched. Her colleague Sophie, played by Adrienne Barbeau, and new acquaintance Paul, played by David Birney, become involved as she tries to identify the stalker.
The film originally aired on NBC on November 29, 1978. “Lost” refers to its reputation as a hard-to-find Carpenter film for years; it is not the movie’s title. It was made for television by Warner Bros. Television and promoted as a “Tales of the Unexpected special,” though it was unrelated to the Quinn Martin series with that name. A reference listing reports a runtime of 97 minutes.

Is there a physical release?
A Scream Factory Blu-ray release has been reported for viewers who prefer physical media. Current retail stock and availability have not been established, so check a retailer or the label directly if you want a copy. The disc is an alternative for owning the film, not a requirement for the reported Tubi stream.
