Jerry Jeudy was quiet for most of Cleveland’s 27-24 Week 4 win over Pittsburgh, but he caught two passes on the final drive that set up Andre Szmyt’s game-winning field goal.
Jeudy’s impact came on the winning drive
After recording one reception for nine yards during Cleveland’s first 11 offensive possessions, Jeudy caught two passes for 27 yards on the final drive, according to the Browns’ account of the sequence. Those catches helped move Cleveland into position for Szmyt’s 56-yard kick with 10 seconds remaining.
Szmyt said, “If they sent me out there, then they’re expecting me to make it,” in the Browns’ report on the winning drive.

His overall receiving line remained modest
The Browns’ official player log credited Jeudy with three receptions for 36 yards, a 12-yard average, a long reception of 17 yards and no touchdowns. CBS Sports’ RotoWire report said he caught all three of his targets: a nine-yard reception late in the third quarter, followed by catches of 17 and 10 yards after the two-minute warning.

The late involvement made Jeudy part of the decisive sequence, but this single game does not establish a change in his role, target share or connection with quarterback Deshaun Watson. The verified evidence is two completions to Jeudy on one late drive.
