The Jason Kooling pillow is sold as a cooling-oriented polyester pillow, but the public evidence does not establish how well it cools in controlled testing. Retailer feedback is mixed: some customers say it feels cool, while others report little cooling or find it thin. The available specifications make it easier to judge its size, materials and care, but not to confirm cooling performance.
What does the Jason Kooling review establish?
CHOICE’s public product page identifies the Jason Kooling as a polyester pillow, lists a price of $40, and gives its dimensions as 17 cm high, 66 cm wide and 41 cm long. Its listed weight is 0.7 kg, its country of origin is Australia, and the listed warranty is three years.
CHOICE withholds the Expert Rating and detailed results from non-members. That includes fatigue, comfort, side-sleeping, back-sleeping, fold and sink scores. The public page therefore does not support a conclusion that the pillow performed well—or poorly—in CHOICE’s controlled tests.

It is marketed as a cooling pillow, but the available public CHOICE information does not show a cooling-test score. Customer feedback on Temple & Webster’s listing is mixed: some buyers describe a cool feel or say it helps them sleep, while another wrote, “Cooling didn’t really work but it’s a comfortable pillow.” These are individual customer impressions, not controlled test results, so they cannot predict how cool it will feel to you.

Is it too thin, and is it suitable for side sleepers?
Temple & Webster lists the pillows as standard size, 48 × 73 × 15 cm, with a medium-to-firm profile and says they are intended for side sleepers. Some customers, however, say the pillows feel thin; one review says, “They’re quite thin.” The 15 cm listed thickness and medium-to-firm label are useful starting points, but personal comfort depends on your preferred loft, shoulder width, mattress and sleeping position. If you need a high-loft pillow, the customer comments are a reason to check the dimensions and return terms before buying.
Materials, care and warranty
The Temple & Webster listing is for a set of two. It describes 100% polyester fill and a cover with a front made of 51% polyester, 31% nylon and 18% polyethylene, and a back made of 100% cotton. The retailer also lists Oeko-Tex certification and Australian manufacture.

Follow the care label supplied with the pillows if it differs from a web listing. CHOICE lists a three-year warranty; confirm the applicable warranty terms with the seller before purchase.
Price and buying considerations
