Arabian Aces head coach Lance Kluesner says the newly assembled squad has the versatility and problem-solving ability to compete in the Abu Dhabi T10. The team is preparing for its reported debut in the tournament, scheduled for 7–20 November 2026 at Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi. His confidence is a pre-tournament assessment, not a result or independent prediction.
Why Kluesner says the format demands a different approach
In comments reported by Hindustan Times in an ANI report published on 3 October 2026, Kluesner described T10 as an unusually explosive challenge: “T10 is an explosive format and is nothing like any of these players have played before barring here.”
He said he wanted players who could contribute with both bat and ball, and framed the format as one that rewards adaptation. “You need innovation and serious problem solving skills and I’m confident that the squad is full of boys who will put their hand up and make it happen for Arabian Aces,” he said. These are the coach’s views on his squad and the demands of T10, rather than independent performance findings.

Who is in the Arabian Aces squad?
The Hindustan Times/ANI report lists an 18-player final squad and names Moeen Ali as captain. It says Moeen Ali, Andre Russell and Liam Livingstone were signed before the draft; Sam Billings, Imran Tahir, Richard Gleeson and others were selected in the draft.

The report’s narrative spells the captain’s name “Moeen Ali,” while its squad list has a typographical inconsistency (“Mooen Ali”); the standard spelling is used here. A reported squad list is not a guarantee that selections remain unchanged closer to the tournament.
What the report does—and does not—establish
The report presents Arabian Aces as preparing for a debut and records the coach’s confidence, but it does not provide match results, independent analysis of player form, or a data-based comparison with other teams. Its player list and ambitions therefore describe the team as reported on 3 October 2026, not evidence that it will excel.
