Yes. TunnelBear has a free plan with 2GB of VPN data per month. The allowance resets on the monthly anniversary of your account, and unused data does not roll over. It is an ongoing free tier, not a short-term trial, but its data limit makes it best suited to limited use.
What does TunnelBear’s free plan include?
TunnelBear’s pricing page describes its free option as intended for “Testing and limited usage.” The company says free users get 2GB of data each month. TunnelBear also says free and paid plans have the same performance levels; the main difference relevant to regular use is the free plan’s data cap.
The monthly allowance resets on the anniversary of the day you created your account. Unused data does not carry over to the next month. TunnelBear’s pricing page and support article describe the allowance and reset.
