No official source cited here confirms a Nintendo Switch game combining Demon Slayer and Hades, or a November 5 launch for one. The real games are separate: Hades II launched in version 1.0 on September 25, 2025, while Nintendo lists separate Demon Slayer titles for Switch.
Is a Demon Slayer and Hades crossover launching November 5?
There is no confirmed crossover or November 5 release in the official pages cited below. The headline appears to conflate separate games, or to use an incorrect date. Supergiant Games identifies Hades II as a standalone game, and the official Demon Slayer pages describe different titles rather than a collaboration.
Because the purported announcement is not substantiated by the rights holders or publishers in these sources, treat the crossover and its date as unverified unless a direct announcement confirms them.

What is the actual Hades II release date on Switch?
Supergiant Games states that Hades II version 1.0 launched on September 25, 2025, and lists Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 among the platforms where players can purchase it. That date has passed; it is not evidence of a November 5 launch. See the official Hades II release information.

Which Demon Slayer games are on Nintendo Switch?
Nintendo’s and SEGA’s official listings point to two distinct Demon Slayer experiences. Neither is described as a crossover with Hades.
| Game | Format and gameplay | Official source |
|---|---|---|
| Demon Slayer: Sweep the Board! | A board-game adaptation with anime locations such as Mount Fujikasane and Asakusa. SEGA describes daytime events and minigames followed by nighttime demon hunting. | SEGA game site |
| Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles | An action-adventure and fighting game that retells anime moments through protagonist Tanjiro Kamado. | Nintendo UK product page |
Choose Sweep the Board! for party-style board-game play and minigames; choose The Hinokami Chronicles for an anime-story action and fighting format. These are different games, not versions of the rumored crossover.

Does Hades II run at 120 fps on Nintendo Switch?
Nintendo specifies 120 frames per second for Hades II when played in TV Mode on Nintendo Switch 2. This is a Switch 2 specification, not a claim about the original Nintendo Switch. The cited pages do not provide a like-for-like resolution or frame-rate comparison between the two systems. See Nintendo’s Hades II platform announcement.

How to check a similar release claim
- Look for an announcement on the official developer, publisher, or platform-holder site.
- Check that the announcement names the exact game, platforms, and release date; similar themes or franchises do not establish a crossover.
- Distinguish a past launch date from a future release date, and verify the relevant region when checking a store listing.
