There is no substantiated 50-mile sale match in the available product information. AKEZ lists the X9 as a 1500W e-bike with a 40–50 km advertised range—about 25–31 miles—and its product page showed it sold out when checked. AKEZ also calls it UL 2849 certified, but that model-specific claim has not been independently confirmed here.
What the AKEZ X9 listing actually says
The closest match to the advertised title is AKEZ’s X9. Its product page lists these manufacturer-published specifications, not independent test results:
- 48V, 1500W rear hub motor
- 48V 18.2Ah lithium battery using DMEGC INR18650-26E cells
- Advertised speed up to 45 km/h
- Advertised range of 40–50 km depending on terrain and riding mode
- 20-by-4-inch fat tires, hydraulic disc brakes and a Shimano 7-speed drivetrain
- Pedal-assist, pure-electric and manual riding modes
The range converts to roughly 25–31 miles, not 50 miles. AKEZ does not provide a controlled range-test protocol on the cited page, so the estimate should not be treated as a guaranteed distance or as a direct comparison with a range figure measured under different conditions. See AKEZ’s X9 listing.

When the AKEZ X9 page was accessed in 2026, it displayed a $1,199 sale price against a $1,899 regular price, alongside the status “Sale Sold out.” Those displayed figures do not establish a currently purchasable offer. Check the live listing and the final checkout terms for current stock, price, shipping, warranty and returns.

What the UL 2849 claim does—and does not—establish
AKEZ’s X9 page says “UL2849 Certified.” That is the manufacturer’s claim; the information available here does not independently confirm an X9 entry in UL’s certification database. UL 2849 itself covers an e-bike’s electrical system holistically, not just its battery. UL Solutions identifies the battery cell and pack, motor, charger and e-bike electrical system among the areas addressed. Read UL Solutions’ explanation of UL 2849.
To check a specific bike, look for the UL mark—the UL in a circle—and search the exact product or model in UL Solutions’ database. Dr. Robert Slone, UL Solutions’ Senior Vice President and Chief Scientist, advises shoppers to look for that mark and says products can be checked in the database. A seller’s general use of “UL,” or a claim that individual cells are UL-listed, does not by itself establish that the complete e-bike electrical system has UL 2849 certification. A 2026 Federal Register discussion of UL 2849-20 describes assessment of electrical systems and testing the recommended battery, battery management system and charger together. It is general regulatory context, not a certification record for the X9. Read the Federal Register discussion.
How the Jaguar Pro compares
AKEZ’s Jaguar Pro is a related 1500W model, but it does not fill the 50-mile gap either. AKEZ lists a 48V 18Ah battery and a 40–50 km range specifically in pure-electric mode; its page also showed the bike sold out when inspected. These are manufacturer-listed specifications, not evidence that either bike will achieve the advertised distance in a particular rider’s conditions. Battery capacity alone does not validate a range prediction.

- Certification: Verify the exact model in UL Solutions’ database and inspect the physical mark; do not rely only on a product-page label.
- Range: Compare riding mode and stated terrain or test conditions. A pure-electric estimate is not interchangeable with a pedal-assist estimate.
- Purchase terms: Confirm live stock, the price at checkout, shipping, warranty and return terms before relying on a displayed sale.
