The LEGO Technic PEUGEOT 9X8 24H Le Mans Hybrid Hypercar is set 42156, a 1,775-piece model for adults. But the available report of a 30% discount at $139.99 covers an earlier 2026 Prime Day period—not a confirmed October 2026 offer. Check a current retailer listing before treating that price or discount as live.
What set is the October Prime Day claim about?
The product is LEGO Technic PEUGEOT 9X8 24H Le Mans Hybrid Hypercar, set number 42156. LEGO lists 1,775 pieces and an 18+ age recommendation, making it a substantial adult-oriented Technic build. LEGO’s UK product page describes suspension, a V6 piston engine and glow-in-the-dark light elements; these are manufacturer-listed features, not an independent assessment of the finished model.
LEGO’s official catalog also identifies the set as 18+ and confirms the piece count. LEGO’s UK product page labels the set “Retired product.” It displays £169.99, but that is the price shown on that UK page—not a current Amazon price, confirmation of UK marketplace stock, or a US price.
Is it actually 30% off during October Prime Day?
The reported $139.99 price and 30% saving appeared in TechRadar coverage of an earlier 2026 Prime Day period. That report does not verify an October 2026 deal. Without a current listing, the October discount, price, seller and stock status are unconfirmed.

To assess a live offer, check the listing itself and confirm the country, currency, seller, item condition, shipping charge and availability. A percentage discount is only meaningful alongside the reference price used to calculate it. Compare offers on the same basis; a past deal or LEGO’s displayed UK price cannot establish today’s marketplace price.
What features does LEGO list?
LEGO’s product description names suspension, a V6 piston engine and glow-in-the-dark light elements. The company’s official video description also mentions steering, suspension and aerodynamics. These details explain what the set is designed to include, but do not establish build difficulty, performance or value independently.

Why availability may vary
LEGO marks the UK set page as retired, which means buyers may need to rely on retailer or resale listings rather than assume it is available directly from LEGO. PEUGEOT and Stellantis originally announced availability from 1 May through LEGO Stores, LEGO.com and PEUGEOT dealers; that launch information is not evidence of current inventory.
