The FLSUN T1 is specified to print at up to 1,000 mm/s, but that figure is a ceiling—not a promise that every model will print at that speed or look its best when it does. Independent reviewers report rapid prints and useful results, alongside compromises in setup, noise, and single-filament operation. Whether that speed is worthwhile depends on the print, settings, and workflow you need.
What does the T1’s 1,000 mm/s speed claim mean?
FLSUN lists a maximum printing speed of 1,000 mm/s and maximum acceleration of 30,000 mm/s² for the T1. These are separate specifications: speed describes how fast the print head can move, while acceleration describes how quickly it can reach that speed. Neither figure establishes how quickly a particular object will finish or whether it will meet your quality expectations.
Material flow is another constraint. FLSUN lists a maximum volumetric flow of 90 mm³/s, and separately specifies 65 mm³/s by the gravimetric method using FLSUN PLA-HS at 230°C. That condition matters: it is not a universal flow result for every filament, temperature, or print profile. The figures are on FLSUN’s T1 parameter page.

In practice, a printer may spend much of a print accelerating, changing direction, or tracing short features rather than moving at its listed maximum. The material’s ability to melt and feed consistently also limits usable speed. For a fair comparison with another printer, compare print time and finished quality using the same model, material, and slicer settings—not just the highest speed number.

What did independent reviewers observe?
Fast output, with quality affected by setup and speed
TechRadar’s hands-on review describes the T1 as a speed-oriented delta printer. The reviewer reports that a Benchy appeared rapidly and that print quality and dimensional accuracy were impressive. The review also found accuracy improved further when speed was reduced. In its own dimensional test, TechRadar recorded an average combined X/Y error of 0.133 mm and a benchmark score of 29/30. Those are results from that review’s test, not guaranteed outcomes for every machine, material, or profile. Read TechRadar’s FLSUN T1 review.
Assembly checks made a difference
TechRadar says the printer arrived essentially flat-packed and required careful assembly. It reports minor surface imperfections on initial prints, which improved after tightening a grub screw around the suspended head. That account suggests setup and mechanical checks can affect results; it does not establish that every T1 will need the same adjustment.

Terrain and larger models
GamesRadar+ reports that its reviewer tested a manufacturer-provided sample over several weeks, printing a Benchy and tabletop-gaming terrain. The reviewer describes the printer as fast and reports useful results for terrain and larger models, while also noting noise and the lack of multi-color capability. Those observations reflect that reviewer’s experience. Read GamesRadar+’s FLSUN T1 review.

- Noise: TechRadar reports that the CPAP cooling system is very loud, even with the recommended silencer. Consider the printer’s location and your tolerance for operating noise before choosing it.
- Setup: The flat-packed arrival and reported improvement after a mechanical adjustment make assembly checks part of the ownership picture, rather than an afterthought.
- Single-filament workflow: The reviews identify single-filament printing and the absence of multi-color capability as limitations. If you need multi-color prints, account for another workflow or choose a printer designed for that use.
- Speed versus finish: TechRadar’s reviewer found accuracy improved at reduced speed. If fine detail or dimensional fit matters more than turnaround time, a slower profile may be the better choice.
Will the T1 fit the prints and materials you want?
FLSUN lists a build volume of 260 mm in diameter by 330 mm high, which is a cylindrical delta-printer envelope rather than a rectangular footprint. It has a 0.4 mm brass nozzle rated to a maximum of 300°C and a textured PEI build plate with a listed maximum bed temperature of 110°C. Filament size is 1.75 mm. These specifications can help you check whether a planned model fits and whether the printer’s stated temperature range aligns with your material. See FLSUN’s official T1 specifications.

FLSUN lists PLA, PETG, TPU, PVA, PET, ABS, ASA, PA, and PC as supported materials. The stated maximum temperatures alone do not guarantee successful printing with every formulation: material-specific settings and appropriate handling still matter. The flow-rate condition specifically names FLSUN PLA-HS, but the broader supported-material list is not limited to that brand.
The official parameters also list auto-leveling, vibration compensation, filament detection, power-loss resume, monitoring, time-lapse, and a HEPA plus activated-carbon composite filter. Confirm feature availability on the specific unit and firmware you are considering rather than assuming every listed function has been independently tested.

Who should consider the FLSUN T1?
The T1 is worth considering if rapid printing is a priority, you want the height and footprint of a delta-style build envelope, and you are comfortable with careful setup and a noisy machine. Its reviewers describe fast output across small demonstration prints and larger terrain models, but the speed specification is not a substitute for a print-time comparison on your own models.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsIt is a less natural fit if quiet operation, a plug-and-play setup, or multi-color printing is essential. Before buying, compare same-model print times, quality at the speed you would actually use, noise at your intended operating distance, assembly and maintenance expectations, build-envelope shape, and material requirements.
