The Crew Motorfest may be worth buying if you want an open-world driving game, are comfortable with its online requirements, and choose an edition whose extras you’ll use. Standard gives you the base game; Deluxe adds customization packs; higher editions bundle Year Passes. Names and contents vary by storefront, so check the itemized listing for your platform and region before paying.
What kind of game is The Crew Motorfest?
Ubisoft describes The Crew Motorfest as an ongoing car-culture festival built around themed Playlists: short campaigns containing races, events, and challenges. The PlayStation listing locates the experience across a Hawaiian archipelago. Seasonal content adds vehicles, environments, Playlists, themes, and features; the PlayStation page says some of these additions are free, alongside paid passes, add-ons, and optional in-game purchases.

These are publisher/platform figures, not an independent audit of the current game. Ubisoft also describes the Year 2 Pass as including Chase Squad, a chase-and-takedown experience, as well as exclusive vehicles, challenges, and monthly drops.

What does each edition include?
Edition labels are not consistent across stores, and even the Deluxe pack names differ between Ubisoft Help and the PlayStation listing. Compare the included items, not just the edition name.

| Listing or edition | What the cited listings say | Who it may suit |
|---|---|---|
| Standard / Cross-Gen | Standard contains the base game. The US Xbox Cross-Gen bundle lists Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S versions. | Someone who wants the core game and does not specifically want paid pass content. |
| Deluxe | Ubisoft Help describes the base game plus the Fitted Ultimate Pack. The US PlayStation listing names the Fitted Rainbow Pack and Fitted Jungle Pack; Xbox also lists a Deluxe edition with fitted packs. | Someone who values the included customization items and considers the local price premium worthwhile. These packs are not a substitute for Year Passes. |
| Gold / Ultimate Year 2 | Names and contents vary. The US Xbox listing says Gold includes the Year 2 Pass. PlayStation’s Ultimate Year 2 listing includes Year 1 and Year 2 Passes and fitted packs. | Someone who has checked the actual pass names and included packs in their own store, rather than relying on “Gold” or “Ultimate” as a universal specification. |
| Ultimate Year 3 | Ubisoft Help describes the base game, Year 1, Year 2, and Year 3 Passes, plus the Fitted Ultimate Pack. PlayStation lists all three passes and the Fitted Rainbow and Fitted Jungle packs. | An existing fan who wants the listed passes and has compared the bundle’s local price with the content they would otherwise buy. |
Ubisoft Help’s edition guide and the platform stores do not always describe Deluxe extras identically. The current itemized product page for your region and platform is the practical reference at checkout.

Yes, the game has online access requirements. The US PlayStation listing says online play is required and that PS Plus is required for online play. The US Xbox listing says an internet connection and Ubisoft account are required to play; Xbox online multiplayer/features require a Microsoft account and Game Pass Core or Ultimate, sold separately. Check the current platform listing for conditions that apply in your region.

- Awesome cars - old, banged-up, patched-together cars that simply ooze style! From old American heavy-hitters to agile Europeans and fun Asians, you won't find anything like this in other gamesMeaningful customization - change not only the look of your cars but also upgrade their body armor!
- Multiplayer - wreck your friends online and take racing to the limit while chasing for Demolition dominance!
- Challenge modes - have hilarious fun with crop harvesters, lawns mowers, school buses, three-wheelers and more!
- 1 player game Network Players 2-16 - Full game requires PlayStation Plus membership to access online multiplayer
How to decide whether it is worth buying
- Choose Standard if you mainly want to try the core driving experience and do not have a specific interest in pass content.
- Consider Deluxe only if the fitted customization items appeal to you and the price difference makes sense at your local store.
- Compare pass contents directly before buying Gold, Ultimate Year 2, or Ultimate Year 3. Verify which year passes and packs are included, and account for any content you already own.
- Confirm platform entitlements and online costs, including cross-generation access where relevant and any required subscription.
- Check the current regional price at checkout. Store prices, discounts, edition names, and availability change; a sale price shown on a US page does not establish value in another country.
There is no universal value verdict: it depends on your platform, current local price, interest in the included extras, and whether the online requirements fit your setup. The publisher’s feature descriptions and store listings establish what is offered, but do not by themselves establish how much you will enjoy the driving or whether the game performs well on your device.
