What is confirmed about the deal?
Mashable’s October 8, 2026, search-result headline reported a $215 discount and described the price as a record low. The underlying article and retailer listing could not be verified, so neither the discount amount nor the record-low claim is independently established. The headline also does not identify the monitor’s model number.

- Open the retailer listing and confirm the complete ASUS model number. Do not rely on “ROG Strix OLED” alone; it describes a product family, not a unique monitor.
- Check the displayed price and whether the listing is in stock. A price or offer seen in an older headline is not proof of the current price.
- Compare the current price with a trustworthy price-history record before deciding it is a record low. The headline’s $215 figure has not been independently verified.
- Recheck the listing immediately before buying, since Amazon says deal availability may change.
Why the model number matters
ASUS’s official product page confirms a model in the family called ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG Gen2 (XG27AQDMGR). However, there is no evidence connecting that model to the reported discount. What to compare once the listing is identified
After confirming the model, compare its panel type, resolution, refresh rate, screen size, connectivity, warranty and burn-in coverage, and current price against alternatives. Without a confirmed deal model and listing, a product-to-product value comparison would be unreliable.
