TCG Card Shop Simulator combines running a trading-card shop with opening booster packs and, in its 1.0 feature set, playing the fictional Tetramon card game. The official Steam listing describes it as a single-player PC game. That gives it two distinct attractions—shop management and card play—but the available reporting does not establish how polished, balanced, or engaging either is over a long session.
What do you do in TCG Card Shop Simulator?
The central premise is managing a trading-card shop: stock booster packs and other card-game products, sell them to earn money, and use that income to build the business. That is the management side of the game, according to its Steam listing.
Opening packs is also part of the concept, linking the shop’s merchandise to collecting cards. The official description establishes the business loop, but does not provide evidence to judge its pacing, difficulty, or how much variety it offers as the shop grows.

Yes. OPNeon Games’ Steam Community announcement describes the 1.0 feature set as adding a playable Tetramon trading-card game, deck creation, and tournaments. Tetramon is therefore more than a theme for the products sold in the shop: players can build decks and play matches.

The developer says a match takes approximately 3–5 minutes and can be played with a waiting customer while the shop continues operating. That design connects the card-playing activity to shop management, though the announcement alone cannot show whether switching between the two feels smooth or whether the card game is strategically deep.
What did the 1.0 update add?
OPNeon Games’ announcement presents version 1.0 as a broader expansion of the game, including the playable Tetramon TCG, deck building, tournaments, new card expansions, and additional shop systems and quality-of-life changes. The update makes the card game a more explicit part of the overall proposition; it is not, by itself, evidence that every system is balanced or that the added content sustains long-term interest.
Is TCG Card Shop Simulator single-player?
Yes. The official Steam listing classifies TCG Card Shop Simulator as single-player. The supplied official feature descriptions do not establish a co-op or multiplayer mode, so do not assume you can run a shop or play Tetramon matches with another person online.

Is TCG Card Shop Simulator worth playing on PC?
It is a plausible fit for players drawn to the combination of shop growth, booster-pack opening, and a playable card game. The 1.0 feature list gives the card-collecting premise a second layer beyond stocking and selling products. However, deciding whether it is worth your time depends on qualities that a feature list cannot verify: the feel of the management loop, repetition, balance, technical performance, and how progression holds up after the early expansion phase.
Popularity figures offer context, not a substitute for those answers. GamesRadar+ reported 4 million players and 96% positive Steam reviews in its September 2026 coverage of the 1.0 release. Those are outlet-reported figures from that publication period, not current live statistics, and they do not independently establish performance or long-term satisfaction.
For background on the game’s beginnings, GamesRadar+ reported that developer Ding Shen Sia began work after burnout from solo mobile-game development, quoting him as saying: “TCG Card Shop Simulator was made because I was bored out of my mind after burning out from solo mobile game development back in 2023. I felt aimless and wasn’t sure what to do with my life,” The outlet also reported that the game entered Steam Early Access on September 15, 2024. This history helps explain its development path, but does not answer how the finished game plays.
