Star Wars Outlaws has a free gameplay demo, not a free download of the complete game. Ubisoft’s game page describes the demo as three hours of play; access to the full game is separate.
What is free in Star Wars Outlaws?
Ubisoft advertises a demo that lets you play Star Wars Outlaws for up to three hours. Its official game page says, “Play the game during 3h for free!” That is a limited demo, not a stated giveaway of the full game.

Ubisoft’s October 2025 demo FAQ described the demo as permanently available on most platforms where the game is available. “Most” does not mean every platform or territory, so check your own platform’s official store for current availability.

- Open the official store for your platform and search for Star Wars Outlaws.
- Check the game’s store listing for a demo or free-trial option. Availability may differ by platform and territory.
- Download the demo and launch it from your library. The play limit is three hours.
Ubisoft’s Nintendo Switch 2 demo announcement says demo progress does not carry over to the base game. Do not assume a demo save will transfer on other platforms unless that platform’s listing or support information confirms it.
