No. SpinQuest’s published rules exclude Tennessee, and the service says Tennessee residents cannot access it because of legal restrictions. Tennessee’s 2026 law also addresses online sweepstakes games. Do not try to bypass SpinQuest’s location controls. This explains the platform’s stated eligibility and the official state-law context; it is not individualized legal advice.

Can I use SpinQuest in Tennessee?

No. SpinQuest’s Sweepstakes Rules list Tennessee as an excluded state, say participation there is void, and prohibit attempts to circumvent territory restrictions. Its Help Center, in an availability page dated July 20, 2026, likewise lists Tennessee among the states whose residents cannot access the platform “due to legal restrictions.” SpinQuest Help Center

That is SpinQuest’s eligibility rule. It should not be mistaken for a court ruling specifically about SpinQuest or an individualized determination of what consequences a particular person might face.

Why is SpinQuest blocked in Tennessee?

Tennessee enacted a measure addressing online sweepstakes games

The Tennessee General Assembly’s bill information for SB 2136 says the measure prohibits gambling, operation or possession of gambling devices, and the operation, conduct, or commercial promotion of online sweepstakes games and other forms of online or app-based gambling, subject to enumerated exceptions. The Assembly’s subject index reports that SB 2136 became Public Chapter 1117 and took effect May 22, 2026. SB 2136 bill information · Tennessee General Assembly subject index

The Assembly’s summary identifies categories the measure does not restrict, including authorized sports gaming, fantasy sports contests under the Fantasy Sports Act, Tennessee nonprofit gaming under state law, and the Tennessee education lottery. Those exceptions do not override SpinQuest’s separate decision to exclude Tennessee.

The Attorney General has stated an enforcement position

On December 29, 2025, the Tennessee Attorney General’s Office announced enforcement against online sweepstakes casinos. It described their model as casino-style play using two virtual currencies, one redeemable for cash or real-world prizes, and said the model violates Tennessee gambling and consumer-protection law. Should I try a VPN or another workaround?

No. SpinQuest’s rules prohibit masking or manipulating your real location, or misrepresenting your residence, to get around territorial limits. Do not use a VPN, location spoofing, or false account information to access the service. The rules also say participation in an excluded state is void.

Does this mean a Tennessee user faces a specific penalty?

The cited sources establish SpinQuest’s state exclusion and describe Tennessee’s law and the Attorney General’s enforcement position. They do not establish a particular criminal or civil penalty for an individual merely for attempting to access SpinQuest. The platform restriction itself is not a judicial ruling about an individual reader.
