Reports that Sean “Diddy” Combs has received massages, special meals, alcohol and access to a cellphone at FCI Fort Dix are allegations from anonymous sources—not officially confirmed facts. NBC News said it reviewed images and video taken inside the prison, but the reporting does not independently establish every allegation. Combs’ spokesperson says he is serving his sentence within the rules; prison officials have not confirmed or denied an investigation into his conditions.

What are the allegations about Combs’ life at Fort Dix?

NBC News, in a report published September 29, 2026, cited four men who had spent time in the same unit as Combs. They alleged that he received massages and special meals and had access to liquor and a contraband phone. NBC also said it reviewed photos and videos taken inside the prison. The accounts and the outlet’s description of that material are evidence reported by NBC, not an official finding that every alleged privilege occurred. NBC News via NBC Boston

The Los Angeles Times reported September 30 that the allegations also included medication. That claim, like the accounts about massages, meals, liquor and a phone, is attributed to anonymous sources; no named prison official or court finding in the cited reporting confirms it. Los Angeles Times

What have Combs and prison officials said?

Combs’ spokesperson told the Los Angeles Times: “The only real news is that Sean continues to serve his sentence within the rules and he patiently awaits the court’s decision on his appeal.” That is the representative’s response, not an independent verification of prison conditions. Los Angeles Times

A Fort Dix spokesperson told the Times that inmates are not permitted to have cellphones and that incarcerated people found violating the Bureau of Prisons’ Inmate Discipline Program are subject to sanctions. The spokesperson described general policy and the broader challenge of contraband, but said the institution could not comment on an individual’s conditions and did not confirm or deny whether there was an investigation involving Combs. The policy statement does not establish that he had or used a phone, or that he was disciplined for one.

How does this differ from earlier reporting about his prison routine?

Earlier reporting described other aspects of Combs’ time in custody, but it does not prove the newer allegations. CBS News, in a report updated November 10, 2025, said prison documents showed Combs had a chapel-assistant job, enrolled in the Residential Drug Abuse Treatment Program and received a recommended sanction after a multi-person call. His representative said that call was a protected legal communication. Those details were reported from documents and an attributable response; they are distinct from the recent anonymous accounts about alleged perks. CBS News

What is Combs’ sentence and projected release date?

The Los Angeles Times reported that Combs was convicted in July 2025 on two prostitution-related counts, acquitted of racketeering-conspiracy and sex-trafficking counts, and sentenced to 50 months in prison. The Times cited the Bureau of Prisons database for a projected release date of January 21, 2028. That date is a projection, not a guaranteed release date, and can change. Los Angeles Times
