RuneScape Reignited has an announced period of full access without membership from December 2 through December 12, 2026. Jagex’s official page does not say whether membership will be required after that promotion, so it does not establish that Reignited will remain free to play.
When can you play RuneScape Reignited without membership?
Jagex’s official RuneScape Reignited page advertises “Full Reignited Access without Membership December 2 – December 12.” The dates refer to December 2–12, 2026, in the launch context of the announcement. The page does not specify a time zone or the exact cutoff time on either date.
This is a limited promotional access period, not confirmation of a permanent free-to-play tier. If you plan to play near the beginning or end of the window, check Jagex’s page for any updated timing details.
Will Reignited require a subscription after December 12?
The official page reviewed does not explain what access will cost or require after the announced period. It provides no standard membership price or ongoing subscription terms. That means the post-promotion membership requirement remains unconfirmed; the offer alone cannot answer whether a subscription will be necessary afterward.

Does signing up for Reignited news require membership?
No membership requirement is stated on the official Reignited email signup page. It asks for an email address to receive news, launch details, and future updates; that mailing-list signup is separate from game access.
