As of October 3, 2026, the latest reports available before kickoff listed North Dakota State running back Myles Mitchell as questionable for the Wyoming game, with an undisclosed injury. Those reports did not establish whether he would ultimately play. The game was scheduled for 2:40 p.m. Central in Fargo.
Is Myles Mitchell playing against Wyoming?
RotoWire and Covers both listed Mitchell as questionable in reports dated October 1, ahead of North Dakota State’s October 3 game against Wyoming. Neither provided a final active/inactive decision, so the designation does not confirm that he would miss the game or take the field. RotoWire’s Mitchell update and Covers’ matchup listing are the cited pregame reports.
Why was Mitchell questionable?
The injury was described only as undisclosed. The October 1 reports did not identify an affected body part, diagnosis, severity, or recovery timeline, so there is no supported basis to infer more about the injury.

RotoWire’s October 1 update said Mitchell had recorded at least 10 carries in every game to that point and listed 46 carries, 214 rushing yards, and three rushing touchdowns for 2026. Those are in-season figures from that report, not final season totals. RotoWire also suggested DJ Scott could see more carries if Mitchell could not play; that was the outlet’s forecast, not an announcement from NDSU.
