The advertised “$70 off Lexar’s 1TB SSD” is not verified by the official Lexar promotion available for review. That promotion lists a $70 saving on a 128GB CFexpress card—not a 1TB SSD—and its SSD deals are for 2TB products. Lexar does list a 1TB Professional Go Portable SSD, but confirm the exact model, seller, and live price before treating it as the deal in the headline.
Which Lexar 1TB SSD could the headline mean?
“Lexar 1TB SSD” is not a unique product name. Lexar’s Professional Go Portable SSD product page lists a 1TB capacity and identifies Amazon and B&H as buying options. It is an external portable drive, intended for uses such as phone storage, backups, and post-production—not an internal drive for upgrading a laptop.
Lexar also has an E6P Portable SSD product page that lists a 1TB model with USB 3.2 Gen 2. However, Lexar marks the E6P “No longer available” and says it is available only in Latin America. It is therefore not a safe default choice for a current purchase.

Is the $70 discount available?
The official Lexar promotion reviewed does not substantiate a $70 discount on a 1TB SSD. Lexar’s NAB Show Promotions PDF gives a $70 saving on the 128GB Professional CFexpress 2.0 Type B Card GOLD. Its listed SSD offers are for the 2TB SL500 Magnetic Set and 2TB ARMOR 700, each with $225 savings. The promotion states that it was available April 19–26, 2026; those dates have passed.
That promotion does not establish a current price or offer for the Professional Go 1TB. Treat the $70 saving as unverified unless an active offer page shows the exact 1TB SSD, seller, dates, and price. Compare the offer price with the same model’s regular price, rather than assuming a discount on another Lexar product applies.

Will the Professional Go work with your phone or computer?
Compatibility depends on the host device and what you want to do. Lexar says the Professional Go supports ProRes 4K at 60 frames per second recording from iPhone 15 Pro/Max or above. Its page says compatibility testing with the iPhone 17 series was in progress, so the published information does not establish that compatibility.

- Blazing-fast performance up to 1050MB/s read and 1000MB/s write for seamless 4K recording, no dropped frames, and swift backups
How fast is it—and what do the speed figures mean?
Lexar lists maximum figures of up to 1050MB/s read and 1000MB/s write for the Professional Go. Lexar says these figures are based on internal testing and that actual speed can vary depending on the host device. They are manufacturer headline specifications, not guaranteed sustained speeds or independent test results.
When comparing listings, look for the exact model and its supported interface, then consider whether your host can make use of it. A fast drive connected to a slower or incompatible host will not necessarily deliver the advertised maximum.

What to verify before checkout
- Exact model: Confirm the product is the Professional Go 1TB if that is the drive you intend to buy, rather than another Lexar SSD or a memory card.
- Live offer details: Check that the seller’s active page applies the $70 reduction to that exact model and shows the dates and final price.
- Seller and region: Confirm where the item ships from and whether the offer and product are available in your location. The E6P, for example, is marked no longer available and Latin America-only by Lexar.
- Host and workload: Verify the device connection and compatibility for your intended use, especially if recording video directly to the drive.
- Listing identity: Lexar identifies Amazon and B&H as buying options for the Professional Go, but that does not verify a particular listing’s stock, seller, or current price.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
