No. High 5 Casino’s own Terms of Use, updated June 26, 2026 (version 45.0), list Michigan as a restricted territory for both of its play modes, the Sweeps Platform and the Classic Platform. That is the operator’s rule for who may use the service, and it is the direct answer to the question. Whether gambling itself is lawful in Michigan is a separate question. State law answers it, and the Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) is the body that applies that law.
What High 5’s terms say for each platform
High 5 runs two modes with different currencies. Both are restricted in Michigan.
| Platform | Currencies offered, per the terms | Michigan status under High 5’s terms | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sweeps Platform | Gold Coins (GC) and Sweeps Coins (SC) | Restricted. Users may not access the Sweeps Platform from Michigan. | High 5 Casino Terms of Use |
| Classic Platform | GC only | Restricted. Users may not access the Classic Platform from Michigan. | High 5 Casino Terms of Use |
High 5’s separate state restrictions page lists Michigan for both modes, so the operator’s two public pages agree.

Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →The Classic Platform is described as GC-only play, and that description can lead readers to assume it sits outside the restriction. The terms do not support that reading. Michigan is excluded from Classic as well. The terms also prohibit using a VPN or proxy to disguise your location, so changing the location a site sees is not a route the operator allows.

Other terms that apply to High 5
The terms set a 21+ minimum age for using the service. That requirement applies alongside the Michigan restriction and does not override it. The terms also describe the site’s own purpose in plain language:
“THIS WEBSITE AND THE SERVICES PROVIDED HEREIN DO NOT OFFER ‘REAL MONEY GAMBLING.’ NO ACTUAL MONEY IS REQUIRED TO PLAY, AND THE SERVICE IS INTENDED FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY.”

That is High 5’s description of its own service. It is not an independent legal determination, and it does not decide how Michigan law treats a sweepstakes-style product.
Michigan’s legal framework for gambling
The MGCB’s Legal vs. Illegal Gaming page sets out the state’s starting point:

“Gambling is generally illegal in Michigan unless it is specifically authorized by state law.”
The page also says gambling typically involves three elements: “consideration (a wager), prize, and chance.” It then lists the forms of gaming the Board licenses and regulates. Because the framework turns on whether a specific activity is authorized, a single operator’s claim about its own product does not settle the question for Michigan residents.

What the regulator’s list shows
The MGCB publishes a list of legal internet gaming websites. High 5 Casino does not appear on that list. Read together with High 5’s own restriction, the practical result is that Michigan users cannot use either High 5 mode, and the Board’s list is the place to look for Michigan-authorized online options.
No specific MGCB ruling on High 5 is cited here. The conclusion rests on two things: High 5’s stated restriction and the absence of the operator from the Board’s licensed list. It should not be read as a broader statement about every sweepstakes promotion in the state.

- Open the MGCB’s Legal vs. Illegal Gaming page and confirm which forms of gaming the Board licenses.
- Open the MGCB’s Internet Gaming and Fantasy Contests page for licensed-provider information.
- Find the Board’s list of legal internet gaming websites and search it for the operator’s exact name. Compare the name against the site address you plan to use.
- Read the operator’s own age, bonus, and payment terms on its website. These are set by each operator, not by the Board’s list.
Operators named on the MGCB list include BetMGM, BetRivers, Caesars Palace Online Casino, DraftKings, and FanDuel Casino, among others. The list changes over time, so confirm each name on the live page rather than relying on any copy of it.
When the answer could change
High 5’s terms carry a June 26, 2026 date, and the operator can revise them. Before you rely on this answer, check the date on the Terms of Use and the current restrictions page. The help center also advises checking the official eligibility information and running its location check. This article covers Michigan only. Restrictions for other states appear on the same restrictions page and are not addressed here.
