The Raiders’ official depth chart, dated September 29, 2026, lists Darien Porter first and Hezekiah Masses second at one outside-cornerback spot. It is the latest dated team listing in the available coverage. Depth charts are snapshots: this order shows how the team listed the players on that date, not how many snaps either will play or whether the order will hold.
How the competition developed in camp
The battle was not limited to Porter and Masses. In its August 17 training-camp notebook, Las Vegas described Eric Stokes as the clear CB1, with Porter, Decamerion Richardson, Jermod McCoy and Masses competing for the other outside-cornerback role. Porter took all first-team repetitions at the Monday practice covered in that report, but the Raiders did not present the job as settled then.

What the later listings show
The Raiders’ unofficial Week 1 depth chart published September 8, 2026, also placed Porter ahead of Masses. The September 29 official chart kept that order, making Porter the current listed leader in the evidence available. The listings establish an ordering, not the coaches’ reasoning or a permanent result.
Did both players make the roster?
Yes. The Raiders included Porter and Masses among the cornerbacks on the initial 53-man roster announced August 30, 2026. Being on the roster means both remained with the team; it does not by itself determine their starting status.

What is not established
The dated team listings and camp report do not provide comparative regular-season snap counts or performance metrics to explain Porter’s placement. They also do not establish that Masses has permanently lost the job. The clearest supported answer is narrower: Porter was ahead in the latest listed order, while Masses remained on the roster and had been part of the camp competition.
