These are article-reported 2026 examples, not verified current prices. The figures do not establish that Hercules is cheaper than every Ryobi or Craftsman option, or that the compared batteries and kits are identical in capacity, features, or included items.
For a useful comparison, check the current cost of the tool kit you need, the battery capacity included, and the price of any additional batteries or chargers. A lower bare-tool or battery price may not mean a lower total cost if you need to buy into a new platform.

Check battery compatibility before switching
The How-To Geek article says Hercules batteries are not compatible with Bauer tools. Treat Hercules and Bauer as separate battery systems when comparing Harbor Freight tools. If you already own batteries from another brand, verify compatibility rather than assuming that tools from the same retailer share a platform.
