The claim that Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival is sold out on both Amazon and Walmart, with one store still holding copies, is not supported by what we could verify. On October 9, 2026, Walmart’s US listing for the physical PS5 game showed a $39.99 price and an October 8, 2026 delivery estimate for a sample Sacramento-area address. No Amazon product page appeared in that check, so the Amazon half of the claim remains unconfirmed. Stock is changing, location-specific, and retailer-specific, so a single headline cannot settle it.
What the game is
Hellraiser: Revival is a first-person action horror survival game. According to the official Xbox US store description, you play Aidan, who uses the Genesis Configuration puzzle box to try to help his girlfriend Sunny escape the Labyrinth. Saber Interactive is listed as both developer and publisher. Both the Xbox US store and the PlayStation Store US listing give October 8, 2026 as the release date for the versions they list.

The same page also lists pre-order pistol and sawblade skins. Read the pre-order terms before assuming those bonuses can still be claimed, because the listing alone does not confirm how long they remain available.
Nintendo Switch 2 listing
A Walmart listing shows a Switch 2 edition with an October 30, 2026 release date, which is three weeks after the PS5 and Xbox date. We did not confirm that date on an official platform page. Treat it as unverified until you see it on the publisher’s or platform holder’s own store.

Why the sold-out claim does not hold up
Walmart
Walmart’s physical PS5 listing was live with Walmart.com named as seller and shipper, and it displayed a delivery estimate of October 8, 2026 for the sample location. A separate Walmart listing for an Xbox Series X showed $39.99 with an October 8 arrival estimate. A delivery estimate tied to one ZIP code is not a nationwide stock count, and the snapshot does not show what happened after October 9.
Amazon
No Amazon product page appeared in the October 9, 2026 check. That means we could not confirm either a sold-out status or the existence of stock there. Do not repeat the Amazon sold-out claim without a dated check of a specific Amazon listing.

GameStop, Best Buy, and community reports
Some release-period community posts describe GameStop showing the PS5 version as unavailable, with one reader asking, “Anyone else unable to preorder Hellraiser: Revival for PS5 at GameStop?” Another asks, “Xbox Physical Copies?”, and one post says Amazon was no longer offering the physical Xbox version. These are individual user reports. They show that some shoppers had problems, but they are not inventory records and do not establish nationwide retailer status.
How to check stock before you buy
- Open the retailer’s product page on the day you intend to buy, not an older link or screenshot.
- Confirm the format and platform. A physical PS5 disc, a physical Xbox Series X product, and a digital code are different purchases.
- Enter your delivery ZIP or postcode in the delivery or pickup selector. The delivery date applies only to that location.
- Check the seller. Walmart.com shipping is different from a third-party marketplace seller, and the seller name should be shown on the listing.
- Compare the price with the edition you actually want, and check whether any pre-order bonus is still attached.
- Repeat the check at Amazon, GameStop, Best Buy, and local stores. If you report a stock result, include the retailer, country, location, platform, and time of the check.
Sources and dates
The game description, platform, and edition details come from the official Xbox US store and PlayStation Store US listings, both accessed October 9, 2026 (UTC). Walmart product listings were accessed on the same date. Community posts are cited only to show that some shoppers reported problems. Stock, displayed prices, release dates, and pre-order conditions are volatile, so confirm them on the retailer page before you buy.
