Not according to GIGABYTE’s offer announcement. The 24.5-inch GS25F2A—the 240Hz IPS monitor that matches the headline—was listed at $79.99 for Prime Big Deal Days on October 6–7, 2026. The separate G25F2A was listed at $89.99. Both prices were announced for Prime members, but the announcement does not confirm Amazon’s live price, stock, or seller.
Which GIGABYTE monitor is the $89 deal?
GIGABYTE’s October 6, 2026 Prime Big Deal Days announcement distinguishes the two models: the GS25F2A was announced at $79.99, while the G25F2A was announced at $89.99. The promotion was scheduled for October 6–7 and was exclusive to Prime members.
The distinction matters because the GS25F2A specifications identify it as a 24.5-inch SS IPS monitor with a 240Hz maximum refresh rate. GIGABYTE’s announcement describes the G25F2A as a separate 25-inch 240Hz monitor and calls out its height-adjustable stand. It does not establish that the two models have identical specifications beyond the details stated.
A Wccftech deal listing used the $89 headline and an image identifying the G25F2A. That is consistent with the announced $89.99 price belonging to that model, but the listing alone does not confirm the exact product-page details. Check the model number on the live listing rather than relying on the headline or product image.

What the GS25F2A offers
GIGABYTE lists the GS25F2A with a 1920×1080 Full HD resolution, a maximum refresh rate of 240Hz, and a manufacturer-stated 1ms GTG response time. These are published specifications, not independent test results. A 240Hz monitor can display up to that refresh rate, but your computer, connection, and game must also support the frame rate you want to see.
| Specification | GS25F2A | What to consider |
|---|---|---|
| Panel and size | 24.5-inch SS IPS | Matches the monitor described in the headline. |
| Resolution | 1920×1080 FHD | This is Full HD, not QHD or 4K. |
| Maximum refresh rate | 240Hz | Your computer and game need to output the frame rate you want to use. |
| Response time | 1ms GTG, manufacturer-stated | This is GIGABYTE’s specification, not an independently measured result. |
| Brightness and contrast | 300 cd/m² typical brightness; 1000:1 typical contrast | Both are manufacturer-published figures. |
| Inputs | 2× HDMI 2.0, 1× DisplayPort 1.4, and an earphone jack | Check that the input and cable you plan to use suit your computer or console. GIGABYTE lists an HDMI cable and power cable among the box accessories. |
Check the stand before buying
The GS25F2A’s stand tilts from -5° to +20°. GIGABYTE does not list height adjustment, swivel, or pivot for this model. That is a practical difference to check if you need to raise the screen or rotate it without buying a separate mount.
