Is Gears of War: E-Day coming to PlayStation?
As of October 4, 2026, Xbox’s official game listing and launch announcements do not name PlayStation as a platform. The accurate answer is that a PlayStation edition has not been officially listed or announced in those sources—not that a PlayStation release could never happen. Check Xbox’s current product page for any future platform updates.

Xbox also announced that the game would be available at launch through Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. A subscription, PC storefront, or cloud service is an access option rather than an additional console platform. Availability and terms can differ by region and service, so consult the live listing and provider terms where you play.

- Disc only. Original case and manual not included. Will come packaged in a generic case.
- This renewed game has been cleaned, tested, and shows minimal wear.
Does Gears of War: E-Day have crossplay?
Xbox’s beta listing identifies “Xbox cross-platform multiplayer,” and Xbox’s full-game capability listing also names Xbox cross-platform multiplayer. That supports saying cross-platform play is documented, but it does not establish every combination of Xbox console, PC storefront, and cloud access that can play together at launch.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesThe beta FAQ gives one specific instruction: during the beta, players had to link an Xbox account to send a cross-platform squad invite. That is a beta-specific requirement, not a complete statement of full-game launch rules. Xbox has not provided a full launch cross-play matrix or definitive details here about opt-outs and matchmaking controls. For a group planning to play together, check current official support information for the exact platforms and modes before buying on that assumption.

What do the multiplayer player counts mean?
Xbox lists online co-op for 2–4 players and online multiplayer for 2–12 players. These are the published capacity ranges for those modes; they do not show which platforms can join the same session or prove cross-play compatibility between particular storefronts.
