Yes. FINAL FANTASY XVI’s Steam listing currently marks it Steam Deck Verified. That means Valve classifies the game as working great on Deck out of the box; it does not promise a particular frame rate, graphics preset, or battery life.
What Steam Deck Verified means
Valve’s Verified rating is a compatibility classification, not a game-specific performance score. Its review considers four areas: input, display, seamlessness, and system support. Valve says Verified games work great on Steam Deck right out of the box, and that ratings apply to both LCD and OLED models.
Valve uses four compatibility categories: Verified, Playable, Unsupported, and Unknown. These indicate compatibility status; they do not rank games by visual quality or speed. Valve also says its compatibility review is ongoing, so the store listing is the best place to check the current status.

- The "World Champion Decks 2024" will be sold as a new preconstructed deck that is a full reproduction of the two decks used by the player who won the “World Championship”. Since the two decks are the exact same two decks that won the Championship, you will have two well-constructed decks to play with immediately after purchase.
Does Verified guarantee good performance in FINAL FANTASY XVI?
No specific performance result follows from the Verified label. The Steam listing and Valve’s compatibility documentation do not provide a game-specific Steam Deck frame rate, graphics settings, or battery-life measurement. Treat the rating as evidence of compatibility, not as a benchmark or a promise of a particular visual experience.
How much storage does the Steam listing require?
Steam’s PC system requirements for FINAL FANTASY XVI specify an SSD and 170 GB of available storage for both minimum and recommended configurations. These are the listing’s PC requirements; they are not Steam Deck performance measurements.
