Yes—based on New England’s final pregame injury report, Drake Maye was listed as available for the Patriots’ Week 4 game at Buffalo. He practiced fully Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and the team gave him no game-status designation. That is a pregame availability update, not confirmation that he ultimately appeared in the game.
What the Patriots’ final injury report says
New England’s Friday, October 2 report listed Maye with a right shoulder injury but recorded full participation at every practice that week. The team placed him under “NO GAME STATUS GIVEN,” rather than assigning a game designation. In the report’s definitions, full participation means completing 100% of a player’s normal repetitions. What “good to go” means—and what it does not
The report indicates that Maye was not listed as limited in practice and had no game-status designation before the matchup. It does not establish whether he played on Sunday: the game was still scheduled for the following day when this availability update was published.
The team’s listing identifies the affected area as his right shoulder; it is not a medical diagnosis or prognosis. The official report and coach’s comments do not specify the injury’s severity, cause, treatment, recovery timeline or a quantified risk.

What Mike Vrabel said about the listing
Asked why Maye was listed, head coach Mike Vrabel said the team added him after the usual postgame protocol and noted that he missed no repetitions: “So, we listed him on the injury report after he went through the normal game day protocol, post game. Then we put on the reps that he missed — which was none.” Patriots transcript of Vrabel’s October 2 press conference
