Parents should be cautious about letting children play Dice Dreams. The game is free to download, but it offers real-money purchases that can include random items, connects players socially, shows advertising, and collects data described in SuperPlay’s privacy notice. Its age guidance also conflicts: Apple’s US listing says 18+, SuperPlay says under-18s may not use its services, while Google Play displays PEGI 3. Check the listing and controls for your own country, device, and account before deciding.

What age is Dice Dreams for?

The official information does not give one consistent answer. Apple’s US listing rates Dice Dreams 18+ and says it is intended for people 18 and older. SuperPlay’s privacy notice says, “If you are under 18, you are not allowed to use the Services.” Google Play’s English-language listing, by contrast, displays PEGI 3. These labels come from different sources and systems; PEGI 3 does not cancel the developer’s stated restriction or establish eligibility everywhere. Check the listing shown in your own country and on the device the child will use. Apple listing

Can my child spend real money in Dice Dreams?

Yes. Dice Dreams is free to play, but the Apple and Google Play listings disclose in-app purchases, including random virtual items. A child can therefore encounter a purchase opportunity even if you initially install the game for free. The available offers and prices can change; check the current listing and the purchase screen rather than relying on an old price list. Google Play listing

Set a purchase safeguard before play

  • Apple devices: Apple says in-app purchases can be disabled in device settings. Ask to Buy can also route a child’s purchase request to a parent or guardian for approval. Review Apple’s current Ask to Buy guidance and the purchase controls on the device.
  • Google Play: A Google family manager can configure purchase approval for a supervised account, including in-app purchases. Google says approvals apply only to transactions billed through Google Play. The Dice Dreams listing notes that some selected Rolls offers can use an additional in-app payment option, so a Play approval setting may not cover every route. Check the billing method shown for the offer and Google’s purchase approval instructions.
  • Either platform: Check which account and payment method are attached, protect the account with authentication, and verify the control on the child’s actual device. Settings depend on platform and account configuration.

Does Dice Dreams have loot boxes or other child-facing features?

Apple labels the game as containing loot boxes, frequent contests, advertising, messaging, and user-generated content. Google Play describes social play involving friends, tournaments, gifts, and competition against other players’ boards; Apple’s listing also describes connecting with friends. These disclosures matter even if the game’s cartoon style looks gentle. They identify features, not a guarantee about what a particular child will see or how well interactions are moderated. The official listings reviewed do not establish chat moderation quality, stranger-contact settings, or how often ads appear.

What information does Dice Dreams collect?

Potential data includes contact and account details, age or birthday, approximate location, IP and device information, gameplay progress and activity, support requests, social-account information, and purchase details from payment providers. Store disclosures add context but are not independent audits. Apple says its privacy details are supplied by the developer and have not been verified by Apple; its label lists categories such as identifiers, usage, purchases, contact details, and contacts for stated purposes including advertising, analytics, personalization, and app functionality. Google Play says the app may collect and share personal information and device IDs, encrypts data in transit, and allows users to request deletion. These statements describe disclosed practices, not a separate security assessment. Google Play listing

If a child has already used the game

SuperPlay’s notice says that if a child has used the services contrary to its policy or without consent, a parent can contact the company; it says it will take reasonable steps to delete the information. The notice also says an age gate may apply in certain games or countries, but the reviewed information does not establish how consistently underage access is prevented.

How to make a decision for your family

  • Read the current age rating and content disclosures in the app store used by the child; ratings and labels can differ by country and storefront.
  • If you allow play, disable purchases or require approval where available, then confirm that the approval covers the billing path used by each offer.
  • Review the social and advertising disclosures with the child and decide whether online interactions and data collection are acceptable for them.
  • For privacy questions or a child’s existing account, use SuperPlay’s privacy notice and contact route; do not assume that a store label alone describes every data practice.
