No. The claim that Apple confirmed a “Beats x Pokémon collaboration” with a Pill speaker teaser is not corroborated by the official Apple, Beats, or Pokémon pages available here. The official Beats collaboration listing and Apple press-room results checked did not identify a Pokémon announcement. That leaves the teaser—and any Pokémon edition—unverified.
What is confirmed about the Pokémon Pill teaser?
The headline’s confirmation claim should not be treated as established fact. The official Beats collaboration listing includes prior special editions, including a Kiko Kostadinov Beats Pill, but does not establish a Pokémon edition (Beats collaborations). Apple’s press-room page likewise does not surface a Pokémon announcement in the results checked (Apple Newsroom).
No announcement-specific statement from Apple, Beats, or Pokémon was located to verify the teaser. There is consequently no substantiated product name, price, release date, sales territory, or availability information for a Pokémon Pill edition. Until an original announcement or teaser can be inspected, describe the claim as unverified—not as a confirmed launch.
What the current Beats Pill offers
The standard Beats Pill is a real portable Bluetooth speaker, and Apple Support identifies the current model as released in 2024 (Apple Support: Beats Pill). Beats lists these features for that model:
#1 Best Overall
- SOUND BUILT TO FILL THE ROOM: The bespoke racetrack woofer displaces 90% more air than the previous Beats Pill, driving deeper, fuller bass at up to 69 watts of output.
- CRISP HIGHS, DISTORTION-FREE BASS: A redesigned tweeter delivers clear, crisp highs and rich mid-range tones, while the woofer design minimizes low-end distortion even at high volume.
- STUDIO-QUALITY SOUND, WIRED OR WIRELESS: Connect via USB-C to a laptop or compatible device for high-resolution lossless audio.
- 24 HOURS OF SOUND, AND IT’S A BACKUP BATTERY: Up to 24 hours of battery life for all-day playback, and the Beats Pill doubles as a USB-C power bank to charge your phone or other devices.
- BUILT FOR THE BEACH, THE TRAIL, AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN: IP67-rated for dust and water resistance, with a removable lanyard and soft-grip silicone body for life on the move.
- Up to 24 hours of battery life.
- IP67 dust and water resistance.
- USB-C high-resolution lossless audio.
- Compatibility with Apple and Android devices.
- Amplify Mode to sync two Pill speakers, and Stereo Mode to assign left and right channels to two speakers.
These are standard-model specifications, not confirmed details about a Pokémon version. Beats’ product page has the current model’s feature information (Beats Pill).
What remains unknown about a Pokémon edition
Without an official announcement, it is not possible to establish whether a special edition exists or whether it would differ from the standard Pill beyond its appearance. In particular, no reliable details are established for:
