Verdict: The iRestore Laser Face Mask Pro has an unusually broad manufacturer-listed mix of laser and LED wavelengths, but the evidence cited on its product page does not establish that this model delivers the advertised study results. The cited 38-person study used iRestore’s older Illumina masks, not the Laser Face Mask Pro. This is an evidence-based review of the product’s published specifications and claims—not a two-month hands-on test; no usage diary, measurements, photographs or firsthand observations are available to support that testing premise.
What the Laser Face Mask Pro is—and what this review can establish
iRestore describes the Laser Face Mask Pro as an at-home face mask combining laser and LED light sources. Its product page lists 800 diodes in total: 150 lasers and 650 LEDs. That is a manufacturer specification, not an independent count or performance test. The available material supports assessing the published design, usage instructions, evidence attribution and purchase terms; it does not support reporting firsthand comfort, fit, durability or skin results.

The product page lists eight wavelengths across two types of light source and five selectable modes. The irradiance figures below are the manufacturer’s published values for modes 1–5; no independent measurement validating them was identified.

The listed lasers are 660 nm red and 850 nm near-infrared. The LEDs are 633 nm red, 830 nm and 1072 nm near-infrared, 415 nm blue, 532 nm green and 590 nm amber. These are the manufacturer’s stated wavelengths; the available product information does not give an independently verified output for each mode. See iRestore’s product specifications
What does the advertised study actually show?
The product page advertises that 94% of users saw an overall improvement in skin appearance and 87% saw smoother facial wrinkles and fine lines. Its footnote attributes both figures to a 12-week study of 38 subjects using the Illumina Face Mask and Illumina Neck & Chest Mask. The registry entry describes the Illumina research as a completed, single-group virtual study with actual enrollment of 38. It involved the Illumina masks, not the Pro. The available evidence does not establish this as an independent controlled trial of the Laser Face Mask Pro. Clinical-trial registry record NCT07025837
No independent performance study specific to the Laser Face Mask Pro, or independent validation of its published irradiance figures, was identified in the material available for this review. That does not prove the device cannot help; it means the older-model results and the manufacturer’s specifications should not be presented as proof that this model produces the same outcomes.

Is the Laser Face Mask Pro FDA-cleared?
The FDA record located for iRestore is K183417, for the “iRestore Professional 282,” a laser hair comb. Its May 17, 2019 decision was a finding of substantial equivalence for that device; it is not a record for the Laser Face Mask Pro. iRestore’s product page separately uses the labels “Cleared Technology,” “IEC Safety Tested” and “ISO Quality Assured.” Those marketing statements should not be read as a product-specific FDA clearance without a matching FDA record.

How to use it, according to the quick-start guide
iRestore’s quick-start guide recommends ten-minute sessions three to five times weekly. It instructs users to begin with a clean, dry face, remove makeup and skincare products, position the mask and adjust its straps, connect the controller, choose a mode and start a session. - Select one of the five modes and start the ten-minute session.
- Clean the mask after use, following the guide and the full manual.
The manual is where buyers should check the complete warnings and precautions, including any safety instructions relevant to their circumstances. The quick-start guide is not a substitute for those instructions. iRestore links a Pro manual through its digital manuals page.

What comes in the box, and what are the listed terms?
iRestore lists the mask, controller with battery, USB-C charging cable, adjustable straps, storage pouch and microfiber cloth as included. The glow stand is described as an add-on, not a standard included item. The product page lists a two-year warranty and a 100-day money-back guarantee. Who should consider it—and what should they weigh first?
The Pro may appeal to a buyer specifically looking for a multi-wavelength at-home mask with both laser and LED sources and a short scheduled session. The trade-off is that the published efficacy figures belong to older Illumina products, while the Pro-specific performance evidence available here is not established. Before choosing it over another mask, compare the exact light sources and wavelengths, device-specific human evidence and study design, fit and comfort, time commitment, full-manual safety instructions, warranty and return terms, and total cost including optional accessories. There is not enough comparative evidence here to declare it a better choice than other masks.
Bottom line: Treat the Laser Face Mask Pro as a device with detailed manufacturer-published specifications, not as a mask whose advertised Illumina study results have been demonstrated for this model. If you buy it, base the decision on its stated features, the manual and purchase terms—not the 38-person study as proof of Pro-specific results.
