Neither phone wins on every line of its listing. The iQOO Neo 10R leads on charging speed (80W against 44W) and lists a 144Hz refresh rate. The vivo T5 5G has the larger typical battery, the larger display and an advertised IP68/IP69 rating. The India store prices captured on 7 October 2026 do not form a like-for-like price difference, because the variants shown do not match. Every figure below is a manufacturer listing, not an independent test result.

Display
Both phones use AMOLED panels at 2800×1260 resolution. The Neo 10R is 0.05 inches smaller, and its listing describes a 144Hz flat panel. The T5 store specification gives no refresh rate, so the listings alone cannot show whether the T5 scrolls as smoothly.
Processor and performance claims
The Neo 10R runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, and the T5 5G runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 7500 Turbo. Chipset names do not settle everyday speed, heat or gaming behaviour, and neither listing supplies independent benchmark results for the two phones.

Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 (iQOO Neo 10R)
iQOO’s listing names the chipset. The pages reviewed do not publish a benchmark score for the Neo 10R, so there is no manufacturer figure to set against the T5’s.
Dimensity 7500 Turbo (vivo T5 5G)
vivo gives the T5 a score of 1,202,592 in AnTuTu Benchmark V11. It is a laboratory claim for the 12GB+256GB edition. vivo says results can vary with memory configuration and test environment. That edition is not the 6GB+128GB model priced at ₹34,999, and the score cannot be placed beside any Neo 10R score.

vivo also claims up to 233% faster on-device AI computing than the previous-generation Dimensity 7400. The claim covers a 3B LLM task at about 10 tokens per second, with testing as of 30 July 2026 on specified models and conditions. It compares the T5 with its own predecessor, not with the Neo 10R.

Typical versus rated capacity
vivo lists the T5 at 7050mAh typical and 6850mAh rated, and states that the two figures are different measures. iQOO lists the Neo 10R at 6400mAh typical. The pages reviewed do not explain how vivo arrives at its rated figure or whether iQOO publishes a rated value. The clean comparison is typical against typical: 7050mAh against 6400mAh.

Charging speed
The Neo 10R’s listed 80W charging is about 1.8 times the T5’s 44W FlashCharge. vivo notes that actual charging power varies by scenario. The Neo 10R has the faster listed charger, while the T5 has the larger listed battery.
Battery longevity claim
vivo says the T5 keeps at least 80% of its battery capacity after 1,600 complete charge cycles in its laboratory tests. The company equates that pattern to about five years of simulated use. Real results depend on conditions and usage. The pages reviewed contain no equivalent longevity figure for the Neo 10R.

Cameras
Both phones list a 50MP main rear camera with an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 32MP front camera. The T5 store listing names the main sensor as the Sony IMX882. iQOO’s product listing describes its 50MP portrait camera as Sony with OIS, which is optical image stabilisation, and highlights 4K video at 60fps. vivo’s product page says the T5 records 4K video on both its front and rear cameras. The hardware labels line up closely. The listings contain no sample photos and no side-by-side image comparison, so they cannot rank camera quality.

The page also says that liquid-ingress damage is not covered under warranty. The iQOO listing reviewed for the Neo 10R has no comparable rating, so the two phones cannot be compared on this point from manufacturer pages.

vivo’s T5 store page lists OriginOS 6.0. vivo’s comparison page lists the Neo 10R with Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15. That comparison page shows the Neo 10R in both columns, so its software entry should be read as a Neo 10R listing only, not as a T5 comparison. The pages reviewed do not state how long either phone will receive updates, so the version numbers alone do not indicate future software support.
Price difference
The two store pages show different configurations at different prices. The gap between them is a snapshot of that moment, not a settled verdict.

Why the ₹1,000 gap is not a like-for-like difference
On paper, the Neo 10R’s displayed price is ₹1,000 lower. That variant also has more memory (8GB against 6GB) and more storage (256GB against 128GB). The Neo variant was marked unavailable at capture, so the lower figure could not be bought. Neither store capture shows both phones at the same RAM and storage level, so the captures do not establish which phone is cheaper for any given configuration.

How to check a like-for-like price
- Choose a RAM and storage combination that both brands sell. If no exact match exists, compare the nearest pair and label it as such.
- Open each phone’s product page on its official store (the iQOO E-Store for the Neo 10R, the vivo E-Store for the T5 5G), select that exact variant, and note the price shown, any MRP and the stock status.
- Proceed to checkout to see the final price after offers, because displayed offers can change the amount you pay.
- Write down the date of each check. Store prices and stock change, so a capture is only valid for the day it was taken.
Which one to choose
- Choose the Neo 10R if faster listed charging (80W) and a 144Hz display matter more to you than battery size, and the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 platform suits your needs. Confirm that the variant you want is in stock at the price you are comparing.
- Choose the T5 5G if you want the larger typical battery (7050mAh), the larger 6.83-inch display, an advertised IP68/IP69 rating or OriginOS 6.0.
