The iQOO 15R is the performance-focused option; the POCO X8 Power 5G is listed at a much lower price and with a larger reported battery. In the India-market snapshots available on October 7, 2026, that gap is about ₹18,000—but the figures come from different sources and are not guaranteed checkout prices. The POCO specifications below are from a third-party comparison listing, not an official POCO specification page.
Price difference: POCO is listed lower, but check the exact variants
Smartprix listed the POCO X8 Power 5G at ₹35,999 as its lowest price and the iQOO 15R at ₹53,990. Its comparison details were last updated September 29, 2026. Separately, the iQOO Official E-Store showed ₹53,999 for the 8GB+256GB iQOO 15R in Triumph Silver on October 7, 2026. The resulting ₹18,000 difference is indicative: one figure is a third-party lowest-price snapshot, while the other is an official-store listing, and offers or stock can change. Check Smartprix’s comparison listing and the iQOO store listing for current details.
Storage also complicates a direct price comparison: the cited Smartprix row lists 128GB for POCO and 256GB for iQOO, while iQOO’s store offers 256GB and 512GB models. Confirm the precise storage and RAM configuration at checkout before deciding which price represents better value.

#1 Best Overall
Which phone is better for performance?
The cited specifications point to the iQOO 15R as the performance-leaning choice: its official India page names a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, compared with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 listed for the POCO by Smartprix. That is a meaningful difference in the stated processor tiers, but chipset names alone do not establish real-world gaming frame rates, sustained performance, or thermal behavior. The available sources do not provide an independent head-to-head test.
For demanding apps or games, the iQOO’s stronger stated chipset is the more relevant starting point. If your use is mostly everyday browsing, messaging, and video, the comparison data does not establish that you need to pay more for that processor; consider the live price and your other priorities as well.

Display: size versus refresh-rate clarity
The iQOO has the smaller listed screen at 6.59 inches, with a 2750 × 1260 resolution. Its official product page markets a 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED display, but the parameter page says “130Hz for normal scene.” Smartprix also lists 144Hz. Because the official information distinguishes marketing language from a normal-scene figure, do not assume that 144Hz applies in every app or usage condition. iQOO separately lists a 360Hz touch-sampling rate for gaming; touch sampling is not the same as display refresh rate. See iQOO’s product page and its parameter page.

Smartprix lists the POCO’s 6.83-inch panel at 1280 × 2772 and 120Hz. That larger diagonal may suit people who prioritize screen area, while the iQOO is the more compact option on the figures provided. The cited listing does not establish a comparable brightness or display-quality test, so these specifications alone cannot settle which screen looks better.

Battery and charging: POCO’s capacity lead needs confirmation
iQOO officially specifies a 7600mAh typical battery and 100W charging. Smartprix reports a 10,000mAh battery and 100W charging for the POCO, which would give it the larger stated capacity. However, the POCO figures are third-party comparison data; an official POCO specification page was not available among the cited sources. Treat the capacity as reported rather than independently confirmed.
Battery capacity does not by itself predict how long a phone lasts. Screen size, processor, software, network conditions, and individual use all affect runtime, and the cited sources do not provide a comparable independent endurance test. iQOO publishes its own battery-playback and gaming-duration claims under iQOO lab conditions, with a warning that actual results can vary; those figures are vendor claims, not a head-to-head test. iQOO’s product page explains its claims and caveat.

Cameras: specifications do not establish a winner
iQOO lists a 50MP Sony LYT-700V main camera, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 32MP front camera. Smartprix lists a 50MP plus 8MP rear-camera setup for POCO, but the cited comparison does not state its front-camera specification. These figures do not establish image quality: sensor performance, processing, lens characteristics, and video features matter too. No comparable camera test is supplied by the cited sources, so choose based on sample photos and features you can verify for the exact model rather than megapixel counts alone.

At 6.59 inches and 202g or 206g depending on iQOO color, the iQOO is smaller and lighter on the available figures than the POCO listed at 6.83 inches and 229g. iQOO gives the 15R’s height as 157.61mm and width as 74.42mm; thickness is 7.90mm for Dark Knight and 8.10mm for Triumph Silver. Smartprix does not state POCO’s dimensions in the cited comparison. The weight difference and screen size may matter if you prefer a lighter phone or easier one-handed handling, but try the device in person if comfort is a deciding factor.
Quick Recap
Which one should you choose?
- Choose the iQOO 15R if the higher-tier processor, Wi-Fi 7, smaller stated dimensions, or official 256GB/512GB storage options matter most to you—and you are comfortable paying the higher listed price.
- Consider the POCO X8 Power 5G if the lower Smartprix price snapshot and larger reported battery are more important than the iQOO’s stated processor tier. Verify the battery specification, storage configuration, and live price through an official or retailer listing before buying.
- Compare like for like before paying: check RAM, storage, color, seller, warranty, and checkout price for both phones. The cited POCO comparison lists 128GB storage, so it is not automatically a storage-equivalent match for the official iQOO 8GB+256GB price.
