On specifications, the iQOO 15R is the stronger fit for performance, display refresh rate and faster charging; the OnePlus N6 has the larger stated battery and expandable storage. There is no dependable like-for-like price gap in the available listings: compare the same RAM and storage configuration at current India prices before deciding. OnePlus calls its phone the OnePlus N6; “N6 5G” is wording used by the comparison listing. It is not the separate OnePlus Nord 6.
iQOO 15R vs OnePlus N6: key specifications
The comparison below uses manufacturer specifications where available. The iQOO figures are from its India E-Store listing, and the OnePlus figures are from the OnePlus India product page; these are stated specifications, not independent performance or battery-life test results.

Which phone has the better performance and display?
iQOO 15R: clearer performance-oriented specifications
The iQOO 15R pairs a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 with a 1.5K-class 2750 × 1260 AMOLED display rated at 144Hz. Those official specifications put it in the more performance-oriented position on paper and make its display claims more specific. They do not establish how much faster it is in a particular game or app: no comparable independent benchmark results are available here.

OnePlus lists a 120Hz display and describes it as high-resolution, but the cited official material does not provide a comparable panel type and resolution. The 144Hz figure gives the iQOO a higher stated refresh rate; actual smoothness also depends on software and whether an app supports higher refresh rates.
#1 Best Overall
Battery capacity and charging: bigger versus faster
The N6 has the larger stated typical capacity at 8,000mAh, compared with 7,600mAh for the iQOO 15R. That capacity difference alone does not show which phone lasts longer in everyday use; display settings, network conditions, software and workload affect runtime.
The charging figures favor the iQOO on rated wired speed: its store listing specifies 100W, while OnePlus lists 45W SuperVOOC for the N6. These are manufacturer specifications, not a head-to-head charging-time test. OnePlus also advertises 5W reverse charging on its product page.

- Slim and Lightweight Design: Slim profile with durable TPU material provides everyday protection without adding bulk
- Shockproof and Scratch Resistant: Flexible TPU construction absorbs shocks and protects your device from drops, impacts, and scratches
- Precise Cutouts and Easy Access: Designed with accurate cutouts for effortless access to all ports, buttons, and cameras
- Screen Protector Friendly: Compatible with most screen protectors, featuring soft flexible edges that prevent lifting or bubbling
- Camera Lens Protection and Good Grip: Raised edges protect camera lenses from scratches while soft texture ensures a secure comfortable grip
Camera comparison: what the specifications establish
Both phones list a 50MP main rear camera. The iQOO 15R adds an 8MP ultra-wide camera and lists a 32MP front camera; OnePlus lists an 8MP front camera. This gives the iQOO more camera flexibility on paper, particularly for ultra-wide framing, but megapixel counts do not establish photo or video quality. Compare independent samples in the lighting and shooting conditions that matter to you.

Storage: built-in space or expansion
The iQOO India store shows 256GB and 512GB variants, so it offers more built-in capacity among the configurations cited here. The N6 product page advertises up to 128GB built-in and up to 2TB expandable capacity. If you intend to use a memory card, verify the supported card type, compatibility and exact regional handset configuration before buying; advertised expansion capacity is not the same as built-in storage.

On 2026-10-05, 91mobiles displayed ₹53,990 for the iQOO 15R and ₹24,999 for the OnePlus N6 5G, with Amazon labels. Those are third-party retailer-linked snapshots, not stable prices, and the page does not establish a matched RAM/storage configuration for both listings. The iQOO India store, meanwhile, displayed ₹66,999 for a selected 12GB+512GB variant. These figures cannot support a reliable current price difference between equivalent phones.

OnePlus’s official page says its launch-date positioning, factual as of June 30, 2026, was in India’s ₹15,000–₹20,000 smartphone price segment. That is OnePlus’s dated product-page statement, not confirmation of the N6’s current selling price. Before purchase, compare the same day’s prices for the exact RAM/storage variants, seller, and any applicable offer.
Which one should you choose?
Choose the iQOO 15R if
- You prioritize the more performance-oriented chipset specification.
- You want the higher stated refresh rate and a clearly specified AMOLED display.
- You value 100W rated charging, an ultra-wide rear camera, or the listed 32MP front camera.
- You want a listed 512GB built-in storage option.
Consider the OnePlus N6 if
- You value its larger stated 8,000mAh typical battery capacity.
- You want the expandable-storage option advertised by OnePlus and have confirmed the supported card setup.
- Its OnePlus software experience and the price of the exact configuration suit your priorities.
This is a specification-based comparison, not a hands-on verdict. Check current India prices for identical or closest-available RAM and storage configurations before treating either phone as the better value.
