The iQOO 15R is the more performance- and battery-focused option on paper, with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, a 7,600 mAh battery and 100W charging. Motorola’s Edge 70 Pro 5G counters with a larger 6.8-inch display, a 50 MP ultrawide camera, and listed IP68/IP69 and MIL-STD 810H protection. A 91mobiles snapshot accessed on October 3, 2026 showed a ₹13,991 gap between retailer listings, but not a confirmed like-for-like price comparison.

Price difference in India
When accessed on October 3, 2026, 91mobiles displayed ₹53,990 for the iQOO 15R at Amazon and ₹39,999 for the Motorola Edge 70 Pro 5G at Flipkart. The difference between those displayed listings was ₹13,991, with Motorola lower. These are retailer-specific snapshot prices, not guaranteed current prices or an established comparison of matching RAM and storage variants.

Check each live listing for the exact configuration, seller, stock and offer conditions before deciding. Which phone is better for performance and gaming?
On the listed platforms, the iQOO 15R is positioned as the performance-first choice: iQOO specifies Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, while Motorola specifies Dimensity 8500 Extreme. That chipset distinction is useful, but it does not establish how either phone performs in sustained gaming, including frame rates or heat under load.

91mobiles reports Geekbench multi-core scores of 9,090 for iQOO and 6,864 for Motorola. It does not establish the test conditions or repeatability in the reviewed comparison, so treat these as that source’s reported results, not a promise of everyday performance. Do not compare them with AnTuTu figures as if the different benchmark methods were interchangeable.

iQOO lists a 7,600 mAh battery and 100W FlashCharge, against Motorola’s 6,500 mAh battery and 90W wired charging. The capacity and charging ratings favor iQOO on paper; they do not by themselves prove longer real-world runtime or establish comparative charging time.

91mobiles reports PCMark battery results of 18 hours 23 minutes for iQOO and 14 hours 1 minute for Motorola. Those are results from that comparison, and its reviewed material does not establish test conditions or repeatability. They should not be treated as a guarantee of how long a phone will last for an individual user.
Motorola has the larger listed display: 6.8 inches versus 6.59 inches for iQOO, with both specified at 144 Hz. Its larger panel may suit users who value screen area; size alone does not settle comfort or one-handed handling. Motorola also lists brightness figures of 5,200 nits peak and 1,800 nits HBM. Those marketing figures cannot be directly compared with an iQOO brightness figure here under matched test conditions.

Camera differences
Motorola lists three 50 MP cameras: an OIS main camera, an autofocus ultrawide with macro support, and an autofocus front camera. iQOO highlights a 50 MP Sony LYT-700V OIS main camera; 91mobiles lists its ultrawide at 8 MP and front camera at 32 MP. Motorola therefore has the higher listed resolution for those additional cameras, but megapixel counts do not establish which phone takes better photos or video. Durability and software support
Motorola’s specification page lists IP68/IP69 protection and MIL-STD 810H. That gives buyers a documented protection claim to weigh, but it is not a reason to assume an iQOO rating is absent: a comparable rating was not established in the reviewed iQOO page material. Check the official specification for the precise market variant you intend to buy.

Motorola says the Edge 70 Pro receives up to three years of OS upgrades and security patches. The four-year OS and six-year security-update duration reported for iQOO by 91mobiles is secondary-source information; an official iQOO support policy was not established here. Verify iQOO’s current policy before making update lifespan a deciding factor.
Which one should you buy?
Choose the iQOO 15R if
- You prioritize its listed Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 platform.
- You want the higher rated battery capacity and wired charging wattage of these two phones.
- You are comfortable checking the exact RAM and storage configuration and current seller price before purchase.
Choose the Motorola Edge 70 Pro 5G if
- You prefer a larger 6.8-inch display.
- You value the listed 50 MP ultrawide and autofocus front-camera specifications.
- You want Motorola’s stated IP68/IP69 and MIL-STD 810H protection claims.
Use price as the tie-breaker only after comparing live listings for the same RAM and storage configuration. The available ₹13,991 difference is between different retailers and does not prove the same-variant price gap.
