The iQOO 13 5G and Apple iPhone 16 Plus suit different priorities: iQOO lists a 144 Hz display, 6000 mAh equivalent battery and 120W wired charging, while Apple’s model runs on the A18 chip and iOS. In India, iQOO’s official store displayed prices of ₹61,999 and ₹66,999 for two configurations, but a current iPhone 16 Plus India price was not established. That means there is no reliable current price gap to calculate.
How the specifications compare
The table uses manufacturer-published specifications, not independent comparative tests. Features and results in actual use may differ from specifications.
| Feature | iQOO 13 5G | Apple iPhone 16 Plus |
|---|---|---|
| Display | 6.82-inch 2K LTPO display, up to 144 Hz, according to iQOO India. | 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR OLED, 2796 × 1290 pixels and 460 ppi, according to Apple’s technical specifications. |
| Processor | Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite, with a Q2 supercomputing chip listed for gaming features. | Apple A18 with a 6-core CPU, 5-core GPU and 16-core Neural Engine. |
| Rear cameras | Three 50 MP cameras, described by iQOO as True Color Photography. | 48 MP Fusion main camera and 12 MP ultra-wide; Apple says the main camera supports 2x telephoto framing. |
| Battery and charging | 6000 mAh equivalent capacity and 120W FlashCharge listed by iQOO. | Apple claims up to 27 hours of video playback. Fast charging can reach about 50% in around 30 minutes with specified adapters and cables, sold separately. |
| Software | Funtouch OS 15 appears in iQOO’s India product material. | Introduced with iOS 18. Apple Intelligence availability depends on region, language and software state. |
| Water and dust resistance | IP68 and IP69 ratings listed in iQOO’s detailed specifications. The manufacturer says the phone is not a professional waterproof device and describes resistance under normal use and testing conditions. | IP68 under IEC 60529: Apple specifies a maximum depth of 6 metres for up to 30 minutes in controlled laboratory conditions. Resistance may decrease with wear. |
| Storage options | Official India store listings cover 12GB+256GB and 16GB+512GB configurations. | 128GB, 256GB and 512GB configurations. |
Display and gaming hardware
iQOO publishes the higher maximum refresh rate: up to 144 Hz, compared with no refresh-rate figure in Apple’s cited iPhone 16 Plus technical specifications. Its screen is also listed as larger diagonally at 6.82 inches versus 6.7 inches. Those specifications alone do not establish which phone looks better or delivers higher gaming frame rates.

Apple lists the A18 and its CPU, GPU and Neural Engine core counts. Core counts and manufacturer feature claims are not benchmark results, so they cannot establish a universal performance winner.

Camera layouts are different
iQOO lists three 50 MP rear cameras, while Apple lists a 48 MP main camera and a 12 MP ultra-wide camera. Apple also describes 2x telephoto framing through the main camera. Megapixel counts and camera layouts do not by themselves predict photo quality; the available specifications do not provide a controlled comparison of image results.
Battery claims and charging are not directly comparable
iQOO lists a 6000 mAh equivalent battery capacity and 120W FlashCharge. Its detailed product material explains the equivalent-capacity figure in relation to a dual-cell battery and cautions that actual results vary. Apple instead specifies up to 27 hours of video playback for the iPhone 16 Plus. That is Apple’s playback claim, not an mAh figure or a head-to-head battery test.

Which phone fits your priorities?
Choose the iQOO 13 if
- You prioritize the higher listed refresh rate and a slightly larger display diagonal.
- You want the Snapdragon 8 Elite, Q2 gaming chip and 7K VC cooling system cited in iQOO’s India product material.
- You value the listed 120W wired charging rating and larger stated battery capacity, while recognizing that neither specification alone predicts your everyday battery life.
- You prefer Funtouch OS and can confirm the exact model’s local price and availability before buying.
Choose the iPhone 16 Plus if
- You prefer Apple’s A18/iOS platform or already depend on Apple services and devices.
- You want Apple’s specified camera layout, including its 48 MP main camera with 2x telephoto framing and 12 MP ultra-wide camera.
- Apple’s stated up-to-27-hour video playback claim and its charging setup match your needs; actual use can differ from the claim.
The iPhone 16 Plus was introduced with iOS 18. Apple’s launch announcement described Apple Intelligence as part of a new era for iPhone, but feature availability varies by region, language and software state; consult Apple’s announcement and current local availability before treating a particular feature as available to you.
Water resistance is not damage-proofing
The two phones carry different manufacturer-published resistance details. Apple gives a specific controlled-lab depth and duration for the iPhone 16 Plus; iQOO lists IP68 and IP69 and warns against treating the device as professionally waterproof. Neither rating means a phone is immune to water damage, and resistance can be affected by use and wear.
