The iQOO 13 5G is the stronger pick if you want the newer processor, a higher-resolution 2K display and a larger stated battery. The iQOO 12 5G remains worth considering for its 120W charging and dedicated 64MP telephoto camera with 3× optical zoom. The apparent ₹2,000 price gap on iQOO India’s store is not a fair comparison of current new-phone prices: the iQOO 12 listings are refurbished, while the selected iQOO 13 variants were marked unavailable.
iQOO 12 5G vs iQOO 13 5G specs
The figures below are manufacturer-published specifications for India-market models, not results from independent performance or camera testing. iQOO’s product pages do not establish every matching display measure, so the comparison sticks to the details they state.

|---|---|---|
| Processor | Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 | Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite |
| Memory and storage | 12GB or 16GB RAM; 256GB or 512GB storage | 12GB+256GB or 16GB+512GB. The 16GB+512GB edition uses UFS 4.1. iQOO says the 12GB+256GB edition currently uses UFS 4.0 and will receive an OTA upgrade to UFS 4.1. |
| Display | 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED, 2800×1260, 144Hz | Q10 2K display, 144Hz |

Processor and storage
The iQOO 13 moves from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 to the newer Snapdragon 8 Elite. That makes it the more current platform on paper, but the cited sources do not provide independent benchmark results, so they do not establish a measured speed advantage or quantify how much faster one phone is in use.

For storage, compare equivalent configurations rather than assuming every iQOO 13 variant has the same storage standard. iQOO specifies UFS 4.1 for the 16GB+512GB model; it says the 12GB+256GB model currently has UFS 4.0 and is to receive an OTA upgrade to UFS 4.1. Check the phone’s current firmware and storage details when buying that variant.
Display
iQOO describes the 13’s screen as Q10 2K at 144Hz, compared with the 12’s 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel at 144Hz. The stated resolution gives the 13 the advantage in detail on paper, while both specifications list a 144Hz refresh rate. The available product information does not establish a complete set of directly comparable display measurements.

Battery, charging and cameras
Battery and charging
iQOO lists a 6000mAh equivalent typical battery for the iQOO 13 and a 5000mAh typical battery with 120W charging for the iQOO 12. These manufacturer figures do not establish real-world battery life or charging time. The cited India pages do not state an iQOO 13 charging wattage, so there is not enough evidence here to compare its charging speed with the 12’s 120W rating.
Rear cameras
The iQOO 12’s listed camera hardware includes a 64MP telephoto with 3× optical zoom, alongside 50MP main and ultra-wide cameras. The iQOO 13 has three 50MP rear cameras, and its product page highlights a Sony 100mm portrait camera. These specifications describe different camera propositions; they do not show which phone takes better photos. No independent image-quality test is established by the cited evidence.

1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsWhich phone should you choose?
- Choose the iQOO 13 if you prioritize the newer Snapdragon 8 Elite platform, the manufacturer-described 2K display, or the larger stated typical battery.
- Consider the iQOO 12 if 120W charging or its 64MP 3× optical telephoto is especially important to you, and you find a listing whose price, condition and availability make sense.
This is a specification-based recommendation, not a hands-on verdict. Because the price evidence compares refurbished iQOO 12 stock with unavailable iQOO 13 listings, decide based on the actual listing available to you rather than the nominal ₹2,000 difference.
